Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Amber Valley

We had a lovely short stay in this conveniently located apartment. A travel cot was provided for toddler, and a high chair was sourced from the cafe on the ground floor. Apartment was safe for toddler and comfortable. Highlights were the secure garage with electric car charge points and the location to the city centre, easy enough to walk with a pram to the shops and restaurants.

The apartment is great and if anything, much better than what we expected. Danny has been an amazing host, very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home here. All in all, great experience with a great host. I would easily recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Nottingham.

Absolutely loved my stay at Jonathan’s place. Ideal neighborhood, which led to some incredible evening walks along the river. Food / coffee nearby is incredible. Everything is well within walking distance. The flat is very private, felt right at home without much disturbance. Jonathan accurate an early check in for me, which was so amazing considering I’d just got in from a very long journey. He was also responsive and empathetic to a unique issue that accured on the first night, so rest assured he will take care of you should anything go wrong! There is an elevator that gets you right up to the third level, super easy to navigate. The shower is wonderful. My only critiquing would be to do with slow WiFi (I was in town for business, so this annoyed me a bit when I needed it) and the main bed could do with more pillows to make it more comfy (totally a personal preference) but all this to say, I’d happily stay again and overall, I’d 100% recommend to anyone considering. Great place to stay exactly in the middle of the city center near Sheffield university

Had an amazing stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect. This was my second stay here and would definitely stay here again when visiting Sheffield.

We had a lovely stay at this truly stunning apartment in a perfect location! Host was super helpful and responsive with a lovely welcome gift upon arrival. The photos don’t do this apartment justice. Peaceful and quiet area with easy parking great swimming pool and gym. The apartment literally had everything! We’ll be back!! 😀

We loved our stay here! We would highly recommend, staff were really friendly Sad times reception and in the pool! The pool is lovely and we had it all to ourselves. Highly recommend and super convenient for the national arboretum museum and would recommend a visit to Barton marina if you are that way for lunch. The bar was a little pricey, £17 for 2 gin and tonics! That’s the only grumble, still 5 stars ⭐️

Had a really good time staying at Stephan’s place. He was super quick to respond to any messages, which made everything easy. The flat was clean and matched the listing. Check-in was smooth — the directions were clear (my bad for not reading them properly at first!). The location is great, really close to the city and a popular coffee spot. Just stayed here for three months while working at the Sheffield Crucible and it was perfect. Great location within easy walk from the theatre and city centre, comfortable and a great little city apartment.

Bob and Paula are lovely hosts. Helpful from the minute we arrived at their beautiful and peaceful property!! And the alpacas and the puppies are a complete joy! The cottage is spotless and warmly furnished. The location is perfect. Not too far from local attractions but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. If we had to do it again we would have stayed much longer. Thank you to our outstanding hosts!!!

Our stay was great it was in perfect location for activities around the apartment block and was so easy to find on the way back. The best thing was the bed it’s hugeeee and was one of the best sleeps I’ve ever had.

Excellent location for easy access to city centre but there are also nearby essentials on the doorstep. Quiet street, and great view of the cricket grounds! Loved the decor and everything was to easy to find. Responsive and welcoming host. Would definitely stay here again.

I felt home, Mary is really nice and the place is comfortable

Tolu was professional and has excellent communication skills. She is very accommodating with us having lots of space. Kitchen is very modern and has washing machine, dishwasher, dryer and other items. Provided extra linens too. I would recommend her flat.

Idyllic stay in the beautiful Peak District. Lyndas special cottage was a treat, beautiful and cosy, with soft colored walls and tasteful fabrics , personal antiques, little touches in every corner. A good little kitchen, very comfortable bed and linens everything we needed and then some. Located Just outside friendly and vibrant Matlock. Wonderful walks from the property and a perfect place to explore the whole area. Lynda is a talented interior designer and it was a treat to get to stay in her delightful cottage. My dog was also welcome and loved the garden space that was ours. Lynda was very helpful and knowledgeable about places to visit with her love of the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back.

We had a lovely 2 night family break at Peacock Barn over October half term. It's a beautiful property with fantastic amenities and perfectly located for exploring the many sites and activities the area has to offer. The swimming pool and games room provided the children with a space to play and have fun which was a key factor for choosing this property. The garden was great for our dog providing plenty of space to run around and secure, providing peace of mind. It would be the perfect spot to enjoy during the summer months. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for having us!

We were a group of 4 set of parents for our daughter’s rowing event close by. Emma was incredibly helpful…videos to explain lights, air con, music etc. She was very generous in allowing us to ship things in advance of our weekend. She also kindly stocked her freezer with lots of ice and emptied the fridge for all of our food Her home is the perfect size with amenities for a large gathering..two dishwashers. Sadly the weather wasn’t in our favour but her garden is stunning and would be the perfect place to hang out. She is a superb host with a lovely home. Thank you!! XxAimee
