We stayed in this beautiful facility for mid-August. We had a great time The listing is exactly as shown in the photos and description. A hearty breakfast. The staff is very kind and impeccable. Super clean structure and rooms. Wide spaces even for our 4-legged friends. Mr. Vito is a wonderful person who is always ready and available for anything, of a kindness more unique than rare. We'll definitely be back!

Thank you for such a good stay at Dodo’s House. The location is 5 bus stops away from the Central Station so its fairly good and easily reachable by bus (4 or C) The breakfast was good and delicious. Gracie! Just a quick note for future guests - the shower was dusty inside. But overall the experience was good.☺️🙌🏼

My husband and I are from Australia. Francesco's place was an excellent choice for us and we chose it because of the reviews which were glowing and our experience was the same. It was easy to find and communication was good. Francesco was there to meet us on arrival. Street parking was always available which reduces stress when travelling. The location is away from the old centre of Monopoli but is an easy and interesting walk to the restaurants at night. The neighbourhood is pleasant and safe, quieter at night for sleeping than being in the hub of restaurants. Francesco and his family are so committed to ensuring that your stay with them in Monopoli is enjoyable that one evening Francesco's father drove and picked us up from a restaurant as my husband had a painful knee. The room is very clean, bed comfortable and there is a balcony. Everything has been thought for a great stay. A highlight though is the Italian breakfast every morning that is provided. Its different everyday, for example bruschetta, focaccia ,antipasto, home made yoghurt, juices and Maria's home made cakes which are to die for. Francesco speaks English and was very helpful with tips to help make the most of our time in the Bari region. I would definitely recommend this award winning Airbnb as a base to explore from.

Giorgio was the perfect host, he couldn’t do enough for us during our stay and was so knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. We will be recommending Antico Ulivo to all of our family and friends and hope to return ourselves one day. Antonio is a great host, he is super friendly and open, and seems genuine happy to receive you as a guest! Our rental car broke down and because of that our check in was a lot later than we arranged. However Antonio was flexibel and when we finally arrived he was there to welcome us. The building is magnificent and super close to the old centre. He showed us the room and on the private terrace with the view of the city he gave us some tips on where to go. The room itself is clean, the bathroom with jacuzzi a plus and the private terrace is a gift. Tonio arranged a private (dinner/snack) meal for us on the terrace which we thoroughly enjoyed with some local prosecco. He truly made our night. Now imagine us not speaking Italian and him not speaking English.. But somehow we communicated and understood each other. Makes this experience even more special. Thanks Tonio!

Great host, sending loads of restaurant and tour recommendations. The room is very centrally located, in the old town while also being about 10min walk to public parking. Comfortable bed. The two downsides (which we knew coming in) were the tight spiral staircase to get up to the room (hard to trek bags up) and the teeny tiny bathroom but for one night before our flight it was a good fit.
