The place was comfortable, clean, and in an unbeatable location. Extremely walkable and close to so many attractions, restaurants, and shops. Gabe was very accommodating and responsive. He handled an issue right away, which was really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful little house. AC works great upstairs and Downstairs. The bed was very comfortable. Full Kitchen available for all your cooking needs. The farm animals are all well kept and very sweet. We took our fur babies with us and had no problems. Blue crab are very easy to catch with a trap and some chicken legs. I fished everyday while I was there, Weather was perfect and I had an assortment of live bait and artificial but no fish this time, it happens. The host was very nice and even allowed us the use of all of the docks on the property. Very nice and peaceful. We had a great experience overall

We had an amazing, much needed vacation. The house was beautiful and had all the amenities needed to make it feel just like home. The attention to detail was spot on.. Chris gave us so many ideas and suggestions on things to do in the area. The pool was a hit with the kids. Chris was super quick at responding to questions and even sent videos on how to do things with the pool. We will definitely be back! The beaches are so beautiful and at low tides exploring was a lot of fun. We saw stingrays, crabs, jelly fish and tons of live sand dollars (that we left alone, please don’t take them if they are alive)… This was our first time on St. Simon Island and we fell in love.

We had such an enjoyable and cozy stay at this listing! We were a convenient distance from the beach, plenty of restaurants, and the downtown area. The pool was clean and everyone was welcoming. Having laundry machines and a pack and play in our unit made traveling with a one year old so much easier. This listing was perfect for a 4 day getaway for a small family who likes the option of going out and the comfort of staying in.

Perfect location! Host was very responsive. Only negative is it did not have a well stocked kitchen which proved to be a challenge when cooking thanksgiving dinner! Listing indicated there would at least be olive oil, salt, pepper, and there wasn’t any. Would rent again, but would be more prepared and bring basic kitchen supplies and utensils.

Great home! You can tell Deborah goes to great lengths to make her place comfortable and homey. (Down to a handwritten welcome note, chocolates, soda, snacks, and wine!). Location is perfect, walking distance to beach and fabulous restaurants. During our stay there was an issue with the internet beyond her control and she went above and beyond to correct the issue and make sure we were compensated for the lack of internet. She was in constant contact and was so sweet in trying to make it up to us. Who needs internet when you are at such an incredible place! We look forward to coming back and booking with her again!

Mary made us feel right at home! Her place was incredible, it had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend on the island for my son’s wedding. We appreciate the welcome note and the bottle of wine and doggie treats. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.

Barry’s place is a gorgeous, cozy little spot tucked away on the water feature of a golf course, it was easy to find with the first spot in the parking lot reserved for the property. It’s a beautifully decorated place with THREE balconies that protrude over the water from any of the sliding glass doors from inside. My wife loved being able to feed the turtles first thing in the morning as we enjoyed our coffee. There are so many of them, if you love turtles, this is definitely the place for you, they come right to you. Barry was very attentive to us before we even left from Augusta to head that way, to the time we left Sunday morning. I now have a new favorite place to stay in the Brunswick/Jekyll/St. Simon’s area, and if it’s available when I come, I’ll be staying at Barry’s place from now on. Thanks for a great experience in such an amazing place. Until next time, The Settles
