Monthly Rentals in Alfama, Lisbon

Lovely spot in Alfama area with a stunning view onto river! The apartment is spacious and clean and as described. We did not use the kitchen much but seems very well equipped! The apartment otherwise had everything we needed! The apartment is in a nice peaceful area with easy connection to city centre with bus or metro (Santa Apolónia station) or walking! There are quite a few restaurants and cafes (can recommend Guadalupe!) nearby and the Panteão Nacional is around the corner! Thanks you to Teresa- she was very kind, welcoming and responsive on messages!

Great location in the heart of Alfama. Host Pedro was attentive, helpful and recommended excellent local restaurants that we asked for as we like to eat with the locals. Apartment was comfortable, looked like pictures. Cozy for 2 people only. Highly recommend.

A living viewpoint! Spectacular views of the ever-changing sky and Rio Tagus, Alfama rooftops and sunlight made for an unparalleled months' stay. The contemporary renovations and comfort of this nest more than made up for the steep four flights and hikes through the ancient alleys to get to and fro. Lots of tourist restaurants and cafes around, and walkable or an uber ride all around Lisbon. My adult daughters all loved it! The bedding and linens were immaculate, kitchen (with dishwasher!) felt complete to make meals, water was hot and constant, and the housekeeper Alice comes weekly! Groceries are a bit of a hike - be prepared for quad workouts! And tell uber to meet you up at the Miradouro Santa Luzia or three minutes' walk down near the Sabaidee Thai Massage Alfama (which is also awesome). Wifi was a bit glitchy and seating could be more comfortable for remote work - still an amazing experience.

Mariana and Antonio’s place was lovely. The apartment was located on the top floor of the building, but it’s a narrow steep climb up from the inside. I won’t lie - lugging our bag up those cobblestone slopes and stairs in Alfama to get to the place was not for the faint hearted. But I definitely am happy with the choice to stay there, in the heart of Lisbon. You just cannot beat that view. Waking up to it, people watching from it, watching the sun disappear from it. It’s just gorgeous. And the apartment is comfortable and well appointed. I was able to make a quick breakfast between the stove, microwave, and fridge. We had some issues with shower pressure, which unfortunately Mariana wasn’t able to schedule a plumber to resolve by the time we left. But she was really responsive and quick to try to address our concerns which I appreciate. My husband is taller than average, 6 foot 3 inches, and some of the ceilings were a little low for him. But we both had an amazing time.
