Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Alentejo

Loved my stay in Lisbon. Blandine's place is very charming and well decorated. My friend and I had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I loved that there were candles to use and bits and pieces in the kitchen that made it very easy to do a bit of cooking. Blandine also made up the sofa bed so we could have separate rooms to sleep. The location was perfect. Very beautiful, the view from the balcony is so nice. And lots of nice shops and restaurants around. There was a supermarket almost next door. It was easy to get around, I found Lisbon very walkable. There was also a convenient bus line close by and Ubers were relatively cheap. Blandine's communication was very clear and to the point. She made the whole experience very easy and was always responsive when I had any questions.

Maria is a lovely, friendly and welcoming host and I was very pleased with the accommodation and quickly settled in. Maria was excellent at providing informative literature about Faro and the Algarve which was very helpful when first arriving in a new area. I really enjoyed my time at Maria's home and would happily recommend it to other travellers.

What a gen of a place to stay with kids!! We loved our one night stay, and wished we had booked longer - we will definitely be back! The lego was an added bonus for our 3 kids.

Great stay during our five days in Portugal! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-located in a residential area close to the airport and a metro station, just a short journey to the city center. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we were able to cook there. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our trip. Would definitely recommend!

Very clean and spacious place, host is very accommodating

lt was hard to leave this chic, spacious and unique place, we love furnitures, open space, and this extraordinary large bathroom, lovely kitchen and comfortable sofa. It was so close to the view point and restaurant area, shops, metro and this street was very quiet, no passing by cars and bars. Very quiet corner lot, amazing views, very clean spacious. Fortunately the ice cream place is not next door as many say, it is down the street, those comments almost scared me away. Do not hesitate, I would repeat!

We had a great time at Sara and Maria's place who are always smiling, welcoming and very responsive in case of difficulties or questions. The accommodation is located in a quiet and peaceful place where it is good to rest, however, there is no shortage of activities. We were able to visit the south east of the Algarve easily.

We are very happy with our accommodation in this little Portuguese house! Well renovated and preserved the old details, yet fully modernly equipped. We didn't miss anything in the house. Sleep very well in the big bed in the loft! Such a nice house! Other tips. We chose to go by Uber into town every time and to the beach of Costa da Caparica. Great price and fast service. From the house we walked the street down to the port of Porto Brandou, took 15 minutes, then the ferry over to Belem, about 10 minutes. Everything worked out very well!

We had a fantastic time at Herdade do Montum. The host was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The house is a little gem, very cosy and beautiful, and the surroundings are lovely, very green and quiet. We had both dinner and breakfast at the Herdade, and both were delicious. Highly recommend a stay here for a couple of days to recharge and enjoy a quiet holiday!

Recommended accommodation without hesitation. As soon as we arrived, Mickaël was there to welcome us. He is very friendly. The house is impeccable, the entire private ground floor with private pool. A tenant lives upstairs but has their own access to the outside so no worries, they are discreet so if you see them once it's fine. The pool is bigger than in the photos so really interesting with barbecue and terrace. We loved our stay at Mickaël's and will come back without hesitation. As for the dog mentioned in several reviews, yes the neighbors have dogs, they are behind the wall on the barbecue side in kennels but during the day they are not there... you hear the barking a little in the evening and at night but it's really not all night or others in any case it can't ruin I think your stay unless a barking bothers you. House really lived up to our expectations.

The space is good for larger groups of 5-10 people. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are several refrigerators and a dishwasher which is very convenient. Downtown Lagos as well as the beach are each 25 minutes walking. We liked everything, we would come back:)

We stayed with Mari Carmen for 4 months with 2 dogs. She is friendly and helpful. Responded immediately to small problems. The apartment is large enough but a bit cold in winter. Heating was available. The neighbors are very nice. We had a lovely time. Thanks Mari Carmen

Very nice apartment with very large balcony. Free parking at the foot of the building. Accessible pool, very nice. The ocean is within walking distance in less than 15 minutes. We recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay! While the space is compact, it’s very cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, and you can really feel the relaxed coastal vibe. It was clean, quiet, and exactly as described. For a solo traveler or a couple, it’s an excellent choice. I can only recommend it!

The apartment is excellent, in very good condition, clean and equipped with everything. fantastic views and well located to visit PN Doñana, the beach, restaurants. the only problem but it is a common thing in Matalascañas are the stairs, for people with reduced mobility it can be an inconvenience. we will definitely be back again Thank you Victor and Paqui

Absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, spacious and bright apartment right on the beach of Praia da California. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen is still brand new. The highlight of course is being right on the beach and waking up and falling asleep every day to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. The ocean views are impeccable! It also only takes about a 2minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach. I went there in October and the beach was pretty much empty, weather still pretty warm & even the ocean was warm enough to swim in every day. You can tell the apartment is looked after very well by its owner, David and is also great for a longer stay. You have all cooking utensils and a washing machine to really make your stay comfortable. Overall, an amazing place to stay and David is an absolute please to communicate with and you can tell he really cares for his guests and the apartment. I hope to be back soon! Highly recommended!

Just right for our short stay. Host is really good and was there to met us and show us around, lovely pool just a few metres away. Clean and had all we needed. Beds are a bit basic, but okay.
