Vacation rentals in Alberta

Enjoyed our quick weekend of family time with Grandbabies. Had a lot to do even though we could enjoy lake due to time of year. Would like to return during warm weather.

We had a great time as a family of 6 (5 adults and 1 child), enjoying a Thanksgiving getaway on the lake. The house itself has tons of space, very comfortable, fast Wi-Fi, and matched the descriptions, but the real highlight was the amazing views of the lake and being able to walk down to the water and the dock. We also did some stargazing at night, and actually managed to spot the Milky Way on a particularly clear night, along with way more stars than you'd typically see just 70 miles from a major metro area like the triangle. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet lakefront getaway.

Great location and views! We spend most of our time on the water so having the boathouse so close and hardly any steps was a huge plus! I like a lot of places in Lake Gaston. Very easy to go back and forth to the house (we are always forgetting things.) Huge bonus having a refrigerator on the dock. The house was beautiful, comfortable beds and linens, very large kitchen with plenty of room to cook. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the large deck. Great long weekend all around.

The place was exactly as described and easy to access. Location was perfect for us. We had a great time and felt perfectly at home during our stay.

This was a fantastic place that worked out really well for all of us even on chilly days of rain. The hosts sincerely want you to enjoy your time there. It was spacious and comfortable for several of us to work together to prepare our meals and there was everything we needed and much more. It worked out perfectly to meet together with family for a wonderful getaway and make memories together.

Glen reached out prior to arrival and explained how our GPS may redirect us towards on another part of the road. This was extremely helpful and proactive. The large sign at the end of the driveway also helped tremendously with making sure we found the correct house. The inside of the house was very clean and stocked with a lot of essentials. The yard was also very well maintained. The large back yard separating the dock and the house was clear of debris and didn’t have any burweeds or ant hills which made walking back and fourth barefoot very pleasant. The dock is in excellent condition! I can’t say enough good things about this house or the host

We had an amazing time at the cabin! The lakeside view was absolutely stunning—waking up to the serene water and watching the sunset was a highlight of our trip. The cabin was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Whether we were soaking in the hot tub, unwinding by the firepit, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, it was the perfect escape. The host Eric was fantastic—super friendly, quick to respond, and made everything so easy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and rejuvenating retreat.
