“Excellent value for money and quality. Housing is located in a guarded cottage clean village with its own free pool and sunbeds. There is not much space in the vein, but there is everything you need to stay, well suited for two, three people. It is necessary to have a car or ride a taxi as there are no shops and cafes in the village. Bulat is a good man, helped me a lot with my personal problems. In my opinion, for such an amount in the emirates it is better not to find housing, but you need to understand the pricing policy of housing in the emirates.”

“What to say—this is a true gem. From our initial greeting by owners Hajer and Waliid with purple jasmine flowers to our leavetaking with mugs of cardamom-flavoured karak tea, the hospitality was amazing. The place itself is rustic but immaculately and meticulously decorated, with all the creature comforts you could want. Multiple open, terraced courtyards, a private interior courtyard, large, spacious rooms with high ceilings and traditional décor, our experience was that of being immediately immersed in a small, traditional mountain village of Al Taibah. Hosts are the ideal air bnb hosts: open, energetic, eager to share, and generous with their stories and their time. We immediately felt welcome, at ease, and relaxed in their space. The backyard of the house—which has two distinct parts, each with its own balcony area—is essentially a museum (the Al Taiba Museum), and also a fantastic hiking path along the bottom of a canyon. Along our hike, we were offered fresh fruit by neighbors working their farms; the community at large was extremely warm and inviting. There is also a fort, called the “flag fort,” that is open to the public and abuts the property. Perfect for artists, those seeking peace and quiet in nature, and those wanting to get off the beaten path and learn about rural Emirati life. We will be back. Highly, highly recommended.”
