Symela's Nest

Very nice renovated old stone house. Quiet, bed and linens are very good, hot water good, kitchen well stocked and equipped, heaters adequate to take the chill off on winter evenings. Good location to visit Troodos mountains - great hike to Kalidonia Falls from trailhead 45 minutes away. Hosts are very attentive and offered late check-out when the place was not booked on day of departure. Very pleasant stay.

Twenty-two Vouni 22

MarcoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Vouni is one of the most beautiful mountain villages in Cyprus. Stands in the guidebook and is also true in our opinion. The house with the number 22 is very cozy, has a terrace to the east with a great view over the place and is right in the middle. Since we were on the road in the low season, it was still very fresh for a few days. The fireplace was necessary to get the house to temperature, but of course provided a nice atmosphere at the same time. A bottle of red wine was ready to welcome you, as well as capsules for the coffee maker. Thanks for that! What could be better? We only think of the drawers in the kitchen, which can only be opened with a little jerking. As a workaround, we simply put the cutlery insert on the countertop next to it. So not bad at all. We can absolutely recommend the accommodation!

Morfo House, Agios Georgios, Silikou

ErikaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Morfo House is absolutely charming, lovely, peaceful, and rich with the heritage of the man who restored the house himself 30 years ago. I had the honor of hearing about Andreas’ family history in their hometown of Morfo. The house is filled with relics and crafts that belonged to his lineage, and many beautiful, original paintings by Andreas! Andreas went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of, he left some Cypriot food and beverages for me and even provided me with a guidebook for the area. Andreas is one of the kindest souls I’ve come across in my 3 months of backpacking. His generosity and hard work is reflected in the beautiful Morfo House! The village is quiet and peaceful, but I had the pleasure of meeting a few of its inhabitants. Don’t skip walking around the village. There are a couple short hikes from the village. Everything else you could need is just a 10-15 minute drive away in any direction.
