The only regret we have about booking Elpida was that we didn’t book longer! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The host is absolutely amazing, she’s like having a friend who knows the area and is always available for recommendations. The view was amazing, the space was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the apartment had every little thing you might need. This place is an absolute gem of a find!!!!

Well what can I say; we loved our stay in the villa. Pictures don’t do justice to the place. Ocean is literally your backyard and you can easily walk to many local places. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants privacy and wants to have. Private ocean. Would want to come back again to Giorgos place again

I’d come back again and again. If you’re up for a drive through the windy country roads, this is a must stay. It is a gorgeous property, the view is unbelievable, and it had everything you could possibly need plus some. And the hosts went above and beyond. We even were baked a cake! I am already planning my return trip. As far as driving to beaches and things, it was pretty easy and quick. It’s about a 12-15min drive down through the backroads (all paved nicely) and then you’re in kissamos. We daytripped to Chania and Falassarna Beach and Balos with ease. If you don’t mind driving, this place is well worth it!

We booked one of the luxurious houses, “Thalia”, for a week this summer. It was a fantastic house holding all the modern fasciitis you can ask for. The view was excellent overlooking the ocean from the mountainside where the house is located. The first evenings the very friendly host came by giving us small presents - home baked cake, olive oil, raki and homemade soap. We were 6 persons who stayed there, and everyone of us loved it. You need a car to get to the nearest shops or restaurants. We highly recommend staying in one of the Katalis’ houses.

You could not ask for a more perfect location or better view. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with recommendations for sites, car rental, restaurant recommendations, etc. The property is very spacious and the hosts had very nicely stocked some treats and coffee station in the kitchen. There are lots of stairs if mobility is an issue. Only inconvenience was that there was only one key, so unless your group stays together the whole time, it does take some coordination.

A spacious living area is complemented by a plush gray sectional sofa and a round wooden coffee table. Vertical wooden slats create a partition to the sleeping area, which features a large bed. Natural light flows in from the sliding doors, revealing a glimpse of the sea.

We had a great stay at Katerina’s. She was very responsive and helpful, and her husband George gave us some great recommendations. The apartment is comfortable and clean, and the view is stunning. We didn’t love taking our rubbish to the on street bins, as we were 5 people in a small car with stinky trash bags and the closest bin is quite a long walk. But we would still recommend and would be happy to stay again.

The apartment is located very conveniently a close walk to the old town and bars and restaurants near the harbour. It has everything you need and is very comfortable, with 2 beautiful balconies almost giving you a 360 degree view over the city. We have just stayed at Villa Angelos and cannot rate the villa, location and host highly enough! The villa is extremely spacious and very clean on the inside and outside. The pool was large and very well maintained, and this villa offers a lot of privacy from neighbours. The location was great, near the sea and walkable to local restaurants / shops. We did hire a car and I'm glad we did as we were able to explore some beautiful places further afield. The host for our villa lives in the nearby town and was extremely friendly and helpful before and during our stay. I had not used AirBnB for a foreign stay before and was a little apprehensive but Marcus and John helped me feel right at ease. From the moment I booked there was impeccable communication. John ensured we were comfortable during the stay and even was kind enough to supply groceries for when we arrived. We were given loads of great recommendations for locally and further afield. We will 100% be back!!

We were blown away by the beauty of this place- even more charming than the photos with a very relaxed and authentic ambience. The highlight for us was the rocky beach access to crystal clear water and excellent snorkeling. It’s a bit isolated - which was perfect for us, but extremely well equipped with everything you need for cooking inside and outside! We received a wonderful welcome complete with a large stock of fruits and vegetables. The only downside was it was hard to leave. Thank you for the excellent stay!
