Waterfront vacation rentals in Aegean Islands

A true hidden gem. We had a lovely stay in October. The temperature was ideal, not too hot not too cold. The terrain has two private beaches it felt very luxurious. Amazing view of the sun rise and sun set. We also enjoyed the garden with the friendly stray cats. If we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely come back!

I stayed here with my girlfriend and we had the most marvelous time. Truly the best experience staying anywhere either of us have ever had. The host is exceptional. Everybody we’ve met in Greece has been kind, warm and welcoming, but Lamprinos went above and beyond. I really can’t put into words how great of a stay this was. The place itself is magnificent, it’s beautiful and luxurious; the stay could cost twice as much as it did and still be incredible value. The best part has to be the hospitality though. Absolutely unmatched. If you’re coming to Crete, do yourself a favor and stay at 1924, you will love it or I’ll eat my socks.

We really enjoyed our stay. When we checked in, it made it very easy for Mr. Onur to come in person and give us instructions. There is nothing to say about the location of the house, its view and the size, we would only expect the sofa sets to be more comfortable and convenient at this price. The current team was quite old. When we enter the house on the water heater, 2. It was given at the stage. After the first dust, we had to shower with cold water until the water heater filled again. It would be nice to be informed more clearly about this. One down point was that the pillows were very uncomfortable. The fact that the location of the house is good and very close to the restaurants is a big plus! The parking lot is very convenient. The plates and glasses in the house are very sufficient. We had a comfortable stay in the hotel of everything from the entrance to the exit. For this reason, I would like to thank the host. With the convenience of Gonul, we would like to come on our next trip.

I had a fantastic stay at Krassy’s place! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was great, close to restaurants and coffee shops and the neighborhood was peaceful. Krassy was an excellent host—very responsive and accommodating. Check-in was smooth, and they even provided bottle of water and sodas. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Athens!

Stratos is a great host - he welcomed us with Christmas decorations and traditional cookies and wine! The apartment has beautiful seaview and its short walking distance to the old town

Lizzy’s place was beautiful. Honestly prettier than the pictures! The location was so quiet, so private and so serene. Lizzy and hosts were very helpful, happy and immediately greeted us. Lizzy was also very response. The accommodations were very sweet, clean and spacious! We would absolutely go back.

Great house and great hosts!

Absolutely stunning view! We went outside of prime tourism season on purpose, and it was so beautiful and peaceful. We were met at the water taxi for help getting our luggage up to the house (thanks, Spiros!) and our host was very responsive and helpful with questions - and tons of great local recommendations! It is up about 50 stairs from the small harbor, so tough if anyone in your party has mobility issues. But the experience is absolutely worth it! Highly recommend.

The most unreal place I have ever stayed at! Right on the water in the most dreamy fisherman's village in Milos. Loved every moment! Our ferry got delayed and we didn't get to the Airbnb until midnight and the host stayed up to walk us to the door and help us get set up. They were so welcoming and kind!

INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend staying here for your next visit in Crete. The home is immaculate. I love that every room has its own bathroom and shower. The view is so beautiful, every morning I would gasp. The owner is so kind, responsive and helpful. Loved eating at the restaurants below. Walking to town was beautiful and only about 20-30 minutes. Lovely stay, in a lovely house with a wonderfully attentive and kind host. Really good position for touring Western Crete, a car is obviously a must but the drives to places are really spectacular ( most drives are just over the hour to the south and west coasts). We did stay in November which sees very quiet roads and deserted beaches - like most of the Greek Islands the shoulder months are the time to see them at their very best. We would love to come back in Spring.

This studio has a far better verandah and view than the pictures show . It is a wonderful place to stay ! Great space cleverly designed to fit it all into a small space . Light bright and close to all of the port bars and restaurants . Parking close too . Book a small car for ease . Bed big and comfortable . Swimming at bottom of steps right below us was fabulous . Giannis is a great host , responsive and helpful . Amorgos our favorite island and this studio the best accomodation there .

My boyfriend and I visited during Christmas time(2024). She had filled the apartment with Christmas lights and decorations, which after a long day of traveling, immediately put us in the holiday spirit. She was very easy to communicate with and after learning of my boyfriends love of pizza she provided us with a personalized list of the best pizzas around town. There was also a booklet in the apartment with a rundown of the city(history, restaurants, sightseeing, etc) which is helpful to anyone visiting from another country. Would definitely come back to Chania as well as this apartment! Thank you Katerina!

If you like a local village feel with fantastic views this is for you. The apartment is on the first floor with balconies at the front and back. We enjoyed breakfast on the rear balcony accompanied by the friendly cats from downstairs. The location is a stones throw from a little beach that you can walk along to reach the small quay and fantastic restaurants.

We were generally satisfied. Very pleasant communication with the hosts, unfortunately we did not meet them in person, but the co-host. And he showed us everything important in and around the apartment. Only downside, the apartment is on Riviera street and it was very noisy. If you don't want to close the windows and want to do without the air conditioning, then there will be restless nights. Everything else was great, bus, tram and beach as well as supermarkets are very close. The city center can be easily reached by bus and train. For a short city trip, this apartment and its owners are absolutely recommended.

Great small place, that was bigger than I was expecting. Near the beach and walkable to many nearby restaurants. Anna was super helpful and able to let us check in early after a long travel day which was really appreciated.

It was a great stay with everything. It was a clean and sparkling clean house. Before we arrived at the house, Maria had communicated the instructions and we had an easy check-in. The location of the house was magnificent in the center and the view. There were very nice restaurants on the coastline, Maria gave us advice. She had put coffee and cookies. There were scented candles. We had a very nice weekend vacation. Thank you.

We had Dimitris as our host and let me say, everything was perfect. We were delayed getting in by a day and he was always very responsive when we communicated our later check-in needs. When we finally arrived a day later he was quick to get us in our place but not before grabbing us a couple beers and a bottle of wine to start our 10 year anniversary trip. He also gave us excellent recommendations of local restaurants to start the trip off right. The place is exactly as described and then some. It is in the heart of the night life and all the beaches, but the location still quiet and peaceful. When enjoying the rooftop patio and hot tub, you would swear you were off in a secluded location. When inside the suite with the doors closed, you couldn’t even hear peep from anyone walking around on the beach front strip. Dimitris was always quick with answers to our questions and recommendations throughout our stay. Without a doubt we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Marilena was an incredible host! She very kindly allowed me to enter the Airbnb before check-in time. She even helped me book a taxi to the airport. She was very nice and attentive, responding to messages very promptly. The place was exactly as advertised in the pictures. Everything was clean. AC, hot water, and wifi working perfectly. It is perfect for a short stay close to the airport and just across the street is access to the beach. Walking distance from many restaurants and markets. As other reviews mention, you can hear the church bells but it is not that loud and I actually found the chimes to be nice. I would definitely stay again.
