Quiet room in the Adirondacks #1

ThomasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Danielle was very responsive and a great host. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The exterior of the building needs a little work, but this was exactly what I needed for a quick stay in the Adirondacks. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Chalet Whiteface - Wind Water - High Peaks Adk

Heather & DougRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay! It is always great to allow our pets to travel with us. The rooms were easily accessible, cozy, and ADK furnished, giving it a country vibe. Central location but not right in the “overly busy” town, which we appreciated. We had everything we needed to enjoy the perfect weekend getaway.

Chalet Whiteface - The Cedar - High Peaks Adk

We had a great four night stay at Allison’s “Chalet.” Our room was clean and comfortable, location was perfect for skiing at Whiteface. Allison is a super host - extremely responsive, offered helpful restaurant suggestions and her homemade muffins for breakfast each morning were a great way to start the day! Good value too.

We had a great time at Allison’s place! The location is great for access to Whiteface and the town of Lake Placid. The room and the common areas were comfortable and cozy. Allison and her son were highly attentive hosts who chatted with us each morning at breakfast and gave us a bunch of local recommendations. Overall a great stay!

Quiet room in the Adirondacks #4

JohnRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This place was excellent. It’s modest, but it’s a great location, clean, affordable/good value, and dog friendly run by pleasant people. Check in was easy and host was responsive. We packed two people and two dogs into one of the standard rooms (not the big suite) for a last minute ski-joring trip and had lots of fun.

Chalet Whiteface - The Balsam - High Peaks Adk

Allison was very accommodating and was seriously one of the best hosts I've had in a while. She was always so energetic in the mornings. She went above and beyond with breakfast making eggs for all the guests, and she even baked fresh muffins! Can't wait to take more visits up and stay here again.

Chalet Whiteface - The Birch - High Peaks Adk

MichaelRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Chalet Whiteface was exactly what my boys and I were looking for to facilitate a weekend of hiking in ADK. Allison is an excellent host: very accommodating, focused on making sure that we were comfortable, and always up for a chat. Her place has a cozy feel to it, beds were clean and comfortable, and satisfying breakfasts were served in a comfy lodge common area. The food, drink, and live music (Saturday) at the pub provided the perfect end to a long day of beautiful fall hiking. This is the place to go if you're looking to be hosted by another human being, not a corporation. Stayed here last fall, will be returning next fall.
