The host was always responsive and easy to communicate. We liked how calm were the surroundings while it was easy to reach everything we needed by walking. The bathroom is worth renovating but we didn't mind it, and everything was spotless clean.

The location, the view, the hygiene were great. The host sent me all the questions and answers before I could ask. The house was clean, most importantly, I fell in love with the view. You can stay with peace of mind

Fantastic Historic Location with a Warm & Helpful Host. Murat was an exceptional host—he kindly waited over an hour for our delayed arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the house. His responsiveness and hospitality made our stay seamless! The house itself is charming and cozy, spread across four levels. The location is unbeatable —just steps from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and lively restaurants with nightly live music (expect some crowd noise, but it adds to the vibrant atmosphere!). A few drawbacks: - Water pressure was inconsistent (sometimes stopping mid-shower). - Kitchen sink odor (there was a persistent odor from the sink, possibly due to plumbing issues) Despite these small issues, we highly recommend* this place for its prime location, unique layout, and Murat’s outstanding hospitality. Perfect for travelers who want to be in the heart of Fatih’s historic district! Thank you, Murat, for making our Istanbul trip so memorable!

Cihan is a SUPER HOST! He took care of all our requests, went out of his way and made us feel at home. The location is perfect and the rooms are exactly as listed. Wonderful man with a wonderful place.

Perfect location to visit Istanbul’s main attractions. The are is full of nice bars and restaurants. The flat was spacious and clean. The host was welcoming, friendly, responsive and flexible. Highly recommended.

A very nice apartment! I was at the university in Beykoz for four weeks for work and the two of us lived there very well. The apartment has what you need, e.g. a washing machine. The location is fantastic. View from the balcony to the Bosphorus! Supermarkets nearby, more shops in Pasabahce. A few minutes to the promenade on the Bosphorus. Transportation is also good. Bus station 3 minutes away, in the evening there is a boat connection from the Golden Horn to Pasabahce. We would mist definitely visit again.

Great space - very well thought out!

Everything was beyond our expectation during our stay. The attention to cleanliness was immediately noticeable; the whole place was sparkling clean and all the items were extremely tidy. The house that looked nice in the photos; in reality it was much warmer, comfortable and convenient. Everything from the equipment in the kitchen to the comfort of the beds, from lighting to the garden was thoughtfully prepared. It was very enjoyable to have our morning coffee on the patio with the sounds of birds. The location of the house was also very advantageous. We came to Kumbaba for the first time. Although it is in a quiet place, we were able to reach everything that could be needed such as grocery stores and cafes in a short time. The host was also very caring from start to finish, friendly but very professional in communication. Every question we had was answered quickly and our needs were sincerely taken care of. Thank you again.

Duygu was a brilliant host. She was friendly and quick to respond every time I messaged. It was very nice of her to personally welcome us when we arrived at her place and give us a tour of the house. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery, cutlery and equipment. The entire piece was well furnished and the rooms were exactly as in the photos. Linen was clean. There was a nice spot in the backyard for our group to hang out as well as a living room. There was running hot water. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe. Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, Taksim square and Nisantasi were about a twenty minute walk. There are many restaurants and groceries are available nearby. All in all, our stay at Duygu's place exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this house to big groups.

place is lovely and spacious, was perfect for our little family reunion . Location is great right next to the sea, lots of space for everyone, weather wasn’t good enough for the pool or swimming in the sea but we had great time by the open fire and in the little summer house in the garden. Had everything we need in the kitchen ,only thing is home decor wasn’t our taste but that is really very personal. Garden is the die for, well recommend it x

The Galley Hotel was extremely accommodating to us for our 14+ person family reunion in Istanbul! This trip's purpose was for our family from Ukraine, Georgia, and America to all meet in one place for the first time in years, and we are so glad we chose The Galley Hotel for our extended stay. It was a perfect location both for accessing the city, having a spot to rest and recharge, and hosting family breakfasts and dinners. The hotel's resources were also very reliable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts we ordered were the perfect way to start our days, and the kitchen was such a vital part of our stay, providing for a place to gather, eat, and play games as a family. We enjoyed our stay at the accommodation very much and fully appreciated the fantastic view. Despite the larger group, as we traveled with children, we had enough space for everyone. Check-in went smoothly, even if we arrived a little late – Ahmet's family was waiting for us and welcomed us warmly. The accommodation is well equipped and offers everything you need for everyday life. However, some furniture could be renewed in the foreseeable future as it shows signs of wear and tear over time.

Everything was great from booking to checkout. Mr. Firat is a very good host, the employees were just as interested. The house has all the details you'll need. Thank you so much for everything

We had a wonderful stay at the villa with our family. The host was very helpful, and the daily visits from the staff ensured we had everything we needed. The environment was superb, the view was breathtaking, and our kids absolutely loved it. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway

We liked it very much as a place, because of the garden, it was very good for the house due to the fact that the house is wooden, but you do not spend time in the house, it makes a little noise when you walk, but you are just going to sleep, so it is not very disturbing, thanks to the host, it was very kind and caring, thank you very much, we stayed very satisfied.

We spent a very pleasant time here and left great memories. The landlord is super good and has been helping us all along
