Nestled away in the heart of Connemara this is one of the best Airbnbs one could ever hope to stay in. The whole place is calm, peaceful and stunningly beautiful. Room and bathroom ensuite were superb and just perfect after a long day. Warm radiator on in the morning made one feel at home- nice touch. Dennis and his dog Ronnie were great hosts. There was no shortage of conversation or insights into the local area or further a field. Breakfast was full and plenty. Highly reccomend this unique abode in the West of Ireland. Well worth the trek ! Catherine

It was the most relaxing, laid back holiday, The Old Rectory had a certain charm about it, homely and interesting. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We felt a sense of peace and creativity there. Roisin was most helpful and informative, a lovely lady, and it was good to meet the rest of the family - Mick and Matiu, great people too. It was nice to feel part of the place, if only for a week. Westport was close by and we saw some good musicians there, also scenic drives and wonderful beaches in the area.

The modern house features a simple, elongated structure with a dark roof and white exterior walls. Multiple windows provide natural light to the interior, while a manicured lawn surrounds the property. A patio area with outdoor seating is visible on one side.

Hostess was fantastic when there was an issue with Air B&B NOT having the correct mapping location or directions. We tried for an hour and a half to find the house. Many helpful and friendly locals. When we got there Noreen was SO welcoming to us. She offered her knowledge and resources to locate supper for us. Even going so far as to drive us there. Superb breakfast the following morning.
