I am a very observant and careful person, and I tell them something, they can come to this place with their eyes closed. The hospitality and experience of being with Adel is wonderful. I came with a friend and I'm sure I'll come back with my mother And last thing, definitely being able to look out and see the pyramids is magical

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. Good location only a minutes walk from the pyramid entrance. We felt safe and comfortable here. Good value for money with breakfast and drinks included.

As it appears in the photo, a great host. Breakfast is special not only for its presentation, but also for the taste. Always ready to help and attentive to answer any questions.

This is a great place to stay. You can see the pyramids from the rooftop. People are nice and kind. The driver was very eager to show you places worthwhile visiting!

We stayed at this property during our trip to Cairo and truly couldn’t recommend it more! The flat is stunning—charmingly decorated in an old French-style chic, spacious, with beautiful balconies and plenty of storage space. What made the experience even more special was the host—exceptionally attentive, quick to respond, and consistently went above and beyond with thoughtful touches and fantastic recommendations. He genuinely made our stay feel effortless and welcoming. If we return to Cairo, we wouldn’t think twice about staying here again!

Hospitality: Yousra’s sister and the flat‑mates welcomed me warmly and made sure I had everything I needed. They shared insider tips on where to eat, what to see, and how to get around. Communication: Yousra stayed in touch online, and her sister replied quickly in person whenever I had a question. Check‑in and check‑out were seamless. Cleanliness & Comfort: The apartment was spotless, tastefully furnished, and exactly as described. Fresh towels, comfortable beds, and a well‑equipped kitchen made the stay very comfortable. Location: A great base for exploring Cairo—on a quiet side street but just a short walk to a supermarket, cafés, and the metro. An Uber ride got me downtown and to the Nile in about 15 minutes. Extras: I loved the little balcony overlooking the neighborhood. Even without meeting Yousra in person, I felt completely looked after and at home. I had an amazing stay! The room was not only clean and comfortable, but the view of the Nile River was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to that every morning was such a treat. What truly made the experience even more special was the host. They were incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. From great local tips to quick replies, I felt truly taken care of. I can’t recommend this place enough—if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views and a host who genuinely cares, this is it!

If you want to live like a local, wake up to views of the Great Pyramids in Giza, walk to local markets, be a Cairean for a few days; Mahmoud's place is right for you. Mahmoud is an absolutely committed host, interested in making your stay comfortable, providing tips and helping plan your trip to Cairo the best anybody can. Mahmoud lives in the same apartment complex and is minutes away for any question or help needed. One evening we were treated to a 4 course home-cooked egyptian meal, which few restaurants serve or match in quality. Thanks very much to Mahmoud, our vacation to Cairo was made all that more pleasurable and memorable.

Gorgeous historic home with impeccable vibes.

Traveling alone with my two children, we had a great time here. We even extended by a few days. Amir was very responsive, quick and cordial to each of our requests. The rooms are big. The beds are comfortable. The apartment is well appointed and functional. Restaurants, shops, metro, etc. everything is easily accessible on foot. The neighborhood is very safe, even in the evening. Cairo is still a city, though! Noisy and lively, sometimes late at night. Sensitive people will equip themselves with earplugs to sleep peacefully! We highly recommend this listing!

I had a great stay in Moustafa's flat, which is ideally located within walking distance of downtown Cairo. The neighbourhood is lively and safe, and you'll find all you need in the area. It's also close to subway stations, so you can easily travel along the lines. The flat itself is big and equipped with all the necessities, be it in the kitchen or bathrooms. The rooms are comfortable and all of them have air conditioning, which is a must in Cairo. Moustafa is a very agreeable host, and in Cairo Halla was easy to reach and readily available to help me with any issues I encountered during my stay. All in all, I warmly recommend this place if you need accommodation in Downtown!

I booked the place for its location and it completely delivered on that. It is right in front of the pyramids and I was able to see them from my room as well as the rooftop. The light show was clearly visible from the rooftop and I immensely enjoyed the stay. They helped with a luggage issue I had with the airlines and were helpful in arranging food according to preference.

A perfect spot to stay in Cairo. The neighborhood is central, quiet but lively. Perfect for going out to dinner in the evening, it's easy to walk around. The apartment is cozy, well decorated. And above all, Martine's welcome is at its best: we received lots of good tips for visits, restaurants etc. I will happily return if I come back to Cairo!

Chez Martine was absolutely nice place to stay. As I was travelling as a solo woman the area felt safe (to walk even it was dark alreaf) and was peaceful compared to center. Shower had hot water which was nice as it was bit chilly on February. Mr. Nasser was very friendly. what I really liked was the atmosphere, the flat was very specially decorated.

We had a lovely time with Nasser who was a great help so we could fully enjoy Cairo. Recommended!

Wish i stayed longer! Very nice place, an oasis hidden amongst the chaos of Cairo haha Very responsive and the staff were perfect, always friendly and willing go above and beyond. We are very happy with this hostel… great location and great people!!!! Mohamed is always answered all my questions and concerns…. All the guys were very friendly and we felt safe and well cared for by everyone . Our guy guide Ahmed is amazing, he speak Spanish very well and and well versed in the history and geography of the region. Thanks Mohamed and your team for everything!

The hotel's location is super convenient to reach, even on foot, Khan el-Khalili, Al-Azhar Park, Old Town, Downtown, and many other attractions. On all the nearby streets there is great street food. The structure is spartan but there is everything you need. Finally, Said and his staff are friendly and also available to provide tourist information and organize guided activities. I therefore highly recommend staying at this accommodation for those who want to experience the city from the inside and in an authentic way.
