I could not have asked for a nicer, kinder more understanding and accommodating host given that my dad passed away during my stay. We were totally comfortable in the beautiful cottage which was cosy and homely and the bed was a dream to sleep in. Loved the shower as well. Can't thank you enough for your hospitality Cathy. xx

The cottage was pristine clean, and decorated with taste. Clare has been above and beyond preparing some basics for us to drink and eat such as juice, milk (dairy and non dairy), bread, ... and even some treats for my dog. Everything needed was there and more. The space is very big and comfortable and Clare was always responding if I had questions. She also allowed a later check in as I had some work constraints I could not change. Good location to go to peak district and Alton Tower.

Lovely place to stay, was a warm and cozy place. Felt very comfortable, home from home! 25 min drive to Alton Towers and large supermarkets 10min drive away. Host was very quick at responding to messages. No problems what so ever. Would stay again!

We had a lovely and peaceful stay in the cabin perfect for time away to relax in the countryside with the beautiful view. The cabin was spotless as was the bathroom and was provided with a wide range of facilities to use! The hosts greeted us straight away and made us feel warm and welcome! They were happy and quick to respond to any enquiries we had. They have a lovely outdoor area with a bbq which they also offer meat packages (unfortunately we went shopping before we arrived). We would happily stay here again!

There’s a reason this is in the top % of Airbnb stays. For someone who uses Airbnb frequently Lisa has a lot of competition but absolutely stands out above the rest. I can mirror exactly what the other reviews have said, the photos don’t do the place justice, Lisa is an absolute 12/10 host and you really get special attention when you stay. A few things to note about your stay: 1. The area is absolutely amazing, Lisa has given really good recommendations of places to visit and the ones we had time to do, didn’t disappoint! 2. The house has so many little details that aren’t mentioned in reviews but there is no expense spared which make your stay that much more special 3. I would actually argue that Lisa doesn’t charge enough for what is provided, so if you’re questioning it, yes, it’s more than worth it. 4. This stay has really exceeded expectations and was an amazing place to go and rest and reset. Thank you once again Lisa you’ve got visitors for life

Had a lovely stay at Pear Tree! We were only there for one night so didn’t explore too much, but we did have a nice walk along the grounds with our cocker. We had a little struggle getting there at first because we went PAST the stables rather than THROUGH them, but we got there eventually and it was easy to get to and from after that! We ran out of kindling early into the night but other than that, everything was available to us. Would absolutely stay again. If only to chat to John a bit longer 😉 Thank you so much!

An absolutely superb, fabulous, well equipped home (would be rude to say property) that is so clean, comfortable and just - homely and cosy. A great location, close enough to the village for amenities, whilst overlooking countryside and very peaceful. 3 en-suite rooms perfect for our family group preparing for a wedding. The EV charger was a wonderful bonus. Not enough superlatives to say how wonderful this home is. Amy and Maitland made the entire process very easy from booking, providing details info for finding and getting in, to checking we were ok once there; the welcoming treat basket was much appreciated with a cuppa. Information on local restaurants/takeaways was made available but with the Indian restaurant literally 50 yds away on ‘the main road’ it was an easy (and very good) choice. The kitchen facilities were equal (probably more) than I have at home and put to good in the days we were there. Would definitely book again should another reason to be in the area arise

If I could give more than five stars I would. Anslow Shires is beautiful and the photos do not do it justice. We stayed for two nights and loved every minute of our stay, the decor is stunning, and it is so clean. Every little detail has been thought of. We stayed whilst there was a storm and it was so cosy and warm inside. It is so quiet and the outlook to the fields are beautiful. We will definitely be coming back
