The place was absolutely outstanding! The location is really unbeatable – central, quiet and all important places can be reached in a few minutes by car. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated and exactly as described in the photos. I would like to highlight the host, Esther. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and always available if you had any questions. You felt welcome from the first moment. I would come back anytime and can fully recommend the property!

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! If this listing is available, I recommend you book it, there is only positives to this place. Conveniently located with great views in a spacious and well decorated place, it felt like a home with reasonable setup for a baby (crib, gate at the stairs). Hosts are lovely and responsive. The place felt very safe.

Oskar is a great host. He was ready to meet us as soon as we arrived and went through everything we needed to know. Apartment was filled with everything we could possibly need for our stay and was immaculate. Location is great, just a 5 min walk from Centraal station. Would highly recommend.

Excellent listing which we would recommend in a heartbeat. The host met us at the time of check in and was very helpful and put us at ease on arrival. The location is excellent in terms of amenities and proximity to the train station. The only negative was the noise at night due to the restaurants and bars outside - however this was clearly communicated at the time of booking so I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Top accommodation! Apartment was full of comforts and wonderfully cool and quiet. We did not expect this when we entered the busy Rotterdam (on a Saturday). Great hostess, after telephone coordination we could find the apartment well.

We liked this home very much. I can mention just two things that could be a problem for future guests. First, the stairway to the bedrrom is very steep with small steps. We could not have carried our luggage up that stairway. Second, all the information about the home (e.g., wifi) is in Dutch. Fortunately, we know some Dutch and could read it. The home is very well furnished and was perfectly clean. It is a short walk to the train station and to the town center — a perfect location.

Karel is a remarkable host. Attentive, very available and discreet; he kindly prepared his boat for us without us having warned him very early for that and inquired to allow us to watch a soccer match (a special request from one of us). Regarding the house, it is incredibly large, extremely well-equipped, beautifully furnished and has very beautiful exteriors overlooking the river. I would highly recommend staying at Karel's and hope to come back myself!

We stayed here for two nights with our three children, and it was wonderful. Conchita was lovely and really helpful, and the children loved playing in the boats and garden, and visiting the pigs! We would have loved to stay for longer, and hopefully we will visit again.

We were warmly welcomed by Klaas Jan. Refrigerator was well stocked and there were also some treats present. The house, and certainly the kitchen, has all the comforts. There was also a covered and enclosed place where we could store and charge our bikes. We sat outside on the banks of the Hollandse Ijssel, at the back of the house. The front is located on a busy provincial road, which is audible in the house and garden. The living room and kitchen (upstairs) are very spacious, downstairs, where the bedrooms are, it is just a bit cramped for 3 adults. Also because the master bedroom is only accessible via the bathroom. In addition, there was no curtain/door at the bed to darken the daylight that comes through the skylight early in the morning. But all in all we had a very pleasant stay in this super luxurious AirBnB and we would highly recommend it, especially if you are only two!

We liked the apartment, it was clean and spacious. The back garden was very nice and peaceful but we could not use it much because of the rainy weather. It is a big plus during warm and sunny weather. Since you enter the apartment directly from the street it is very easy getting in and out with no stairs. About the neighborhood, there were few restaurants and most of them close early, and most of them Turkish. When coming from Türkiye it is interesting to eat Turkish food :) Aside from that all is well.

Meineke’s place is in a great location, just an 8 minute walk to grocery stores, historical center of Gouda and the train station. The house is comfortable and very clean. It is very well-appointed with every kitchen tool you can imagine. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing that I think bears mentioning is that if you are sleeping on the top floor, you have to go down a flight of 13 steps to use the bathroom in the night. I’m 72 and need to do that once or twice every night and handled it well. There is a hand-rail and a night light. But, just something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Marianne manages the property and lives right next door. She greeted us upon arrival and was very responsive to all questions.

Hans was a great host, very friendly and responsive with some great local recommendations. The apartment was beautiful, peaceful and clean. Located very centrally just a short walk from everything you need. Thanks Hans!

Wonderful space! Beautiful interior, very well equipped for everything you might need over a long weekend stay. Marina was lovely, very helpful and communicative. The bed was extremely comfortable, location excellent, every part of the space is well thought out and would highly recommend it to anyone!

our stay was very convenient and easy to travel as it is very close to the train station an shops. the neighbourhood is quiet and safe and clean. our stay was very comfortable as it suited every needs of ours with having all basic amenities. I loved staying at Mirjam‘s place! Mirjam is super friendly, was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Her apartment is safe, comfortable, has beautiful light, is quiet for good sleep, and she has the kitchen well supplied for cooking needs, including hand towels, condiments and dish and clothes washer detergent, which are all very handy. The neighborhood that the apartment is located in is very sweet and very close to the delightful historic area of Leiden. The supermarkets and an open market are walking distance. Efficient bus transportation is a short walk away and many go to and come from Leiden Centraal station. Leiden is a lovely city to visit and its energy is more calm than larger Amsterdam. I highly recommend Mirjam’s place!
