Vacation rentals with lake access in Zug

The house was huge and had everything we needed. A nice touch was the rice cooker which is hard to come by. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area. This is the most value for money house that we rented in Switzerland. Giuseppe was always responsive and this is important especially if guests are already in the house and needed help.

Even though we arrived later than the originally scheduled check-in time, the host was very worried that we wouldn't be able to find the house and waited for us until check-in. The host is very kind and thoughtful. The condition of the accommodation is impeccable, and the scenery is even more amazing. (Actually, I talked about it just because of the scenery. It looks like a composite even though I'm looking at it with my eyes.) I was really satisfied with the sauna facilities. It can be difficult to find if the surroundings are too dark, so pay attention to the check-in time! If you're late like us, you'll have a hard time. Loved our stay, truly beautiful home and perfect for our family (2 adult couples couples and a family of 3 with 6 year old). Child friendly with safe bedding and available books and toys to play with. Great location 5 minutes from train station and 2 blocks walk from COOP grocery store. A few things to get used to as being from USA appliances are slightly different, but we knew that ahead of time. Also thankful for the previous review that mentioned needing to buy additional toilet paper if staying more than a few days, it was easy to pick up with our groceries. Hosts were very responsive and kind with the questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will remember our trip fondly and our stay here.

We stayed here with a family of 6 and had a great time! We actually are booking it again to return to Germany from Italy. So, would definitely stay again!😊

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lukas’s place. Great location in the Altstadt, not even a 2 minute walk to the lake and all the amenities/equipment one would need. Lukas was very helpful and responsive regarding the check in process, so great hosting. Highly recommend staying here!!

Great accommodation, beautiful view, Superhost, quiet area

Very great spot to hang around if you plan to visit Lucerne or Mount Rigi, or even just to chill around the Zugersee. Isabel and Pernilla was very nice and responsive throughout our stay and very accomodating! Had a very nice stay! The view from the balcony was also amazing!

We wanted to hike in the mountains in Switzerland, spend time with the bikes at the lake in fine weather and visit Zurich/Lucerne, so the location of Walchwil was particularly suitable for us. Bogdan's apartment is furnished as shown in the photos, without much frills, but still everything there (we were missing a coffee machine). Apartment is clean and as described, we can definitely recommend it. The Walchwil train station is right in front of the balcony, it did not bother us, but it could well be that noise-sensitive people have a problem here.

Charles and Lexie are true citizens of the world, generous, charming, innately elegant - sharing a home that is as spacious as it is warm, with uniquely subtle artistic touches. My doggie enjoyed lounging in their vicinity, only to discover what a heart of gold 💝 Lexie has! The surroundings are green and dotted with gardens, beautiful walks and traditional farms await at walking distance. Their home is nested next to the station, yet double glazed windows don't let any noise perculate. My doggie and I have found our oasis 🌴
