Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Zagora

We stayed for four nights, a family of 6 adults and 3 children aged 3, 5 and 8 years. The house is furnished beautifully in traditional Moroccan style and decorated with many ornaments, curios, and artworks. We were shocked on arrival by the property's palatial appearance, but soon settled in with the help of the guardian Mohammed and housekeeper Habiba. We thought it was self-catering but were informed by the host that if we bought the food then Habiba would cook for us. The cooking was to a high standard with extra luxuries like homemade cake, but what is prepared relies on what you provide and your instructions. We requested traditional Moroccan food. Mohammed and Habiba could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Mohammed is on call for any needs like taxis. The extensive garden of established plants and trees is illuminated by lanterns at night. The view of the lake and mountains is spectacular. The kids loved the swimming pool but must be supervised. Better than any hotel.

We enjoyed two great nights with Brahim and his family as a family. The place is quietly located on sand dunes and super suitable for starting Sahara tours. We were warmly welcomed there by his brother and immediately felt very comfortable. The food was prepared authentically and lovingly and in the evening he even played guitar for us. After our first night, we met Brahim and set off with him into the desert. The tour with him to the desert camp was exciting and his knowledge of the desert enriching. The time in the dunes was indescribable. The nature, Brahim and the other hosts as well as the dromedaries made the 24 hours in the desert including a ride into the sunset and live music unforgettable. For anyone looking for an authentic desert experience, we can only recommend staying with Brahim.

The villa is just beautiful! The setting is quiet, peaceful, and just heavenly. Hasna who lives next door is very attentive and remains available for any questions we may have. Nadir is on the ball, he has plenty of good advice and good recommendations and he is super flexible. There were 4 of us there. Be aware that the villa is very large and spacious so sometimes it can seem a little empty. It's ideal for 6-8 people, a family. Go for it, don't hesitate.

We had a great time. The track leading to the accommodation is really worth the walk. Mohamed and Hicham are great hosts, and the eco-farm is a haven of peace. In addition, the meals and breakfast are delicious, and there are beautiful things to discover nearby. We would highly recommend it!

The place is on the middle of Zagora and a walking distance to coffee shops and shopping stores. The owner was very responsive and had very gracious hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place.
