A lovely mansion with a lovely spacious garden 3 minutes away from the train station, 10 minutes from Amsterdam and the Zaanse Schans. You sometimes imagine yourself in the countryside because even though you are in the middle of the center of Zaandam, the birds wake you up in the morning and because of the non-existent street it is wonderfully quiet. A few minutes away you are on the Dam of Zaandam and with the Zaanse Schans and Amsterdam around the corner, you can go all the way.

Our cozy family house on the dike is located in a quiet area within walking distance of the station, so you can be in Amsterdam within 7 minutes. Behind the house is a spacious garden and a playground with football field. An ideal place to combine a quiet holiday with visits to the Zaanse Schans and Amsterdam. Inside, the house is spacious and light with an open kitchen and views of authentic dike houses and cows in the distance. We are a family with 2 children and 2 cats.

My cozily furnished house with furniture from India is in a quiet street with no cars. The front is by the water, where you can spot ducks, birds and herons. At the back you have a view of the greenery and you are very quiet. It is also suitable as a retreat & artist house as you sit quietly and yet very close to the shops & people if you want to look that up. It's like a "nature cottage", but in a urban area. The energy of the house is calming.
