This worked out great for us because of our group size! Close to a lake park with fishing and climb on pirate ship for kids to play at the playground. My bed was comfortable and the neighbor how was great for a walk.

Lou’s Bear Den

JidapaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great value and location. I stayed here with five friends in late March to see the Northern Lights. The location was perfect for that purpose. The end of the driveway has a clear, minimal light view of the sky. The view from the deck isn't as clear, but is convenient for quickly checking if they're present. The amenities were great. We appreciated the pantry with a couple spices and the variety of kitchen equipment (even a blender!). The only thing I'd additionally note is that Bedroom #3, the garage, needs the door kept open for heat circulation. It wasn't a problem for us and the beds are also offset from the main floor for privacy, but it could be an issue for other groups. The other two bedroom doors can be closed. Overall, a great place to stay for Fairbanks/North Pole aurora viewing!

The Modern Moose, Cozy Ranch home.

NicholasRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great place to stay. Safe, quiet neighborhood close to shopping and activities in south Anchorage. The location also makes for a shorter drive heading southbound to Girdwood or other locations. Very spacious, modern and well-appointed on the inside. The host was friendly and immediately responsive to making some recommended improvements.

Beautiful family friendly 4 Bedroom Cabin

JaredRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Took a boys trip with 3 friends and I selected Susanna’s home as our second choice as our first choice had raised the price of rental. This was easily the best decision we made. Susanna’s home in Wasilla was a prime location for our boys trip as we were able to adventure in any direction and enjoy amazing sights without having to drive an extra hour if you’re staying in downtown Anchorage. I was impressed with all of the amenities offered by Susannas home. The kitchen was very spacious and was stocked with every seasoning we could need. It often became our central gathering area of the house. Another treat to be able to view the Aurora Borealis from the comfort of the outside deck. Huddling around the fire pit was also very calming during these snowy nights. Overall, I would say this home is excellent place for you and your family (or friends) to stay if you want to enjoy the natural beauty of Lower Alaska without having to drive too far. Thank you Susanna for your hospitality!
