Vacation rentals with lake access in Yucatán Peninsula

The home was exactly as described and looked just like the photos—beautiful and welcoming. The only issue was an unpleasant odor coming from one of the bathrooms, which we discovered was due to the toilet brush. Once we identified the source, we placed the brush in the backyard, and the smell was no longer a problem. The home was clean, the instructions were clear, and the property itself was stunning—just steps away from the beach. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

The house and pool were even better than the pictures! Such a beautiful place to stay and in a lovely, quiet gated community. Everything was perfect. Leticia is a fantastic host, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and beyond. We would definitely recommend staying here. Definitely helpful to have a car to explore as the villa is a few km out of Valladolid

Robin’s place was perfect for our multi-generation family holiday. The simple studio apartment on the ground floor was perfect for me and my little kids, and the more luxurious apartment upstairs was very comfortable for grandparents and aunt&uncle! The pool and backyard were tidied daily (the pool was so refreshing and a big hit with the kids), and the beach was just a quick walk over the road. We were perfectly situated for a relaxing and peaceful family trip. Robin organized a van and driver to drive us to and from the airport, and a chef took cook dinners for us — which was such a treat! Robin was super responsive and friendly and always very quick to reply. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others!

Sylvia's home was just perfect for our sisters getaway. 3br/ 3bath and a great living area to gather. The decks overlooking the ocean were perfect for morning coffee and cocktails by pool (overlooking the ocean) were splendid. Local concierges and housekeepers Maribel and Jose couldn't be more responsive and helpful. It was a wonderful stay.

The place is great, it has everything you need to spend a few pleasant days. The host was very helpful at all time. It has a very good location, it is safe and it is in front of the lagoon.

Beautiful location with private lagoon access. We spent most of the time outside. Everything is arranged in this way. (Palapa, Hammocks, sun loungers, canoes, barbecue etc.) Air conditioning in the rooms is essential at night, given the temperatures :) The host is very responsive to any questions or issues. We really enjoyed our stay in this peaceful place. A real little paradise!

Great location right on the lake. We especially enjoyed spending time in the outdoor eating area (with full kitchenette), and swimming and watersports activities right off the private pier. Note that the property has bedrooms in two separate buildings. Two bedrooms are lakefront, and the remaining bedrooms are a bit further back in a separate building, which also includes a kitchen and outdoor seating. The property was clean and well kept, albeit a bit dated. Location is about 5 minute drive into town. Overall a great spot for a few days in Bacalar.

Absolutely loved my stay in Tulum! The rooftop pool had breathtaking views, perfect for relaxing and taking it all in. The place felt very modern, extremely clean, and incredibly comfortable. I also felt safe and secure the entire time, which made the stay even more enjoyable. While you would probably want to drive to most amenities, it’s easy to get around by bike or a rented moped, which are available all over. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and stylish getaway!

Nice and cozy studio on a beautiful gated community, pool was clean and the rooftop had a nice view.

Luz and Dale were amazing. Luz showed me all the hot spots and picked me up at the airport. Dale has a small store of apparel and sunglasses that I purchased from. They been there all their lives and definitely pointed me in the right direction. Thanks guys.

Everything was excellent!! The check-in instructions were clear and even allowed us to store our luggage in advance and we are very grateful. Few hosts currently allow it. They welcomed us and showed us the apartment's amenities. The truth is, we were delighted with the apartment, the pool, the area is very quiet and if you don't have a car you can move around at all times on route 1 or by Uber, The host also made some recommendations. We felt right at home, we didn't want to leave. The pool is huge, we rested very well and you can certainly feel that they strive to keep everything good for their guest and I insist, it is appreciated. Don't hesitate to book it, believe me, it will be worth it. As mentioned, right in front is the xailing pier to Isla Mujeres. Another thing, it also has a washing machine with clear instructions for use. I confirm, I totally recommend the accommodation.

Rudy's place is exactly as described. It was so cute and extremely clean! Rudy made sure he sent the rules of the home as well as a brochure to what to do in Playa as far as excursions, food beaches and etc. Rudy was on vacation himself; however Rolando was extremely helpful. I can text this man in the late evening with a question and he would respond back in less than 30mins and I thought that was impressive for a past 10pm response. For those passionate in regard to visiting Playa Del Carmen I can say this is the Airbnb to book!

Great location, 10min walk to the beach and ferry. House itself was clean and quiet, AC worked great. Hosts were helpful when needed and did not hover or check in unnecessarily.

The house is right on the Laguna. What a great place! The shared areas are nice and clean. The house is on the outskirts of Bacalar, but the town center is close by and on walking distance. Olga is an amazing host, who takes care of her house and the guests. I would definitely recommend staying at Olga’s place if you have planes to visit Bacalar.

I can say that if you are looking for peace, tranquility and to disconnect to think, this is the ideal place. A heavenly place away from the hustle and bustle and pollution. Deysy was always helpful and kind to our needs. Highly recommended. See you soon!

A very good option for family stays, each room has its own bathroom, the pool is a good size, the private dock was our favorite part. We took a board and went through the mangrove.

Excellent accommodation with access to the private lagoon, you have all the amenities to have a great time, barbecue, kitchen, table, kayak. Very nice, we will definitely be back.

You won't find a better place to stay in Bacalar! I saw the "fancy" accommodations and they are lovely with great views - however, they aren't located ON the lagoon and don't have nearly as much peace and tranquility that Olga's place offers. It's the perfect place to rest your body and your spirit <3 Kayaks and bicycles are available at no extra cost, as well as a laundry room! The kitchen and bathrooms are always clean and Olga is always ready with a recommendation or assist with whatever you need! The RV is clean, cozy, and pretty comfortable. I slept well every night with just the breeze from the lagoon and a fan on low. HIGHLY recommend this lovely stay =D
