Drey Cottage - former Chapel House, Brecon Beacons

RachelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Drey was fantastic, really lovely house with lots of space and amenities. Was exactly as described, and the breakfast basket was a nice welcome gift. Adequate off-road parking for 4 cars was really helpful, and the location is stunning.

Idyllic, refurbished character barn. Sleeps 2.

AlexRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Characterful and charming place in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Equipped with everything we needed for our stay - we especially enjoyed the log burner after long days out hiking and the gifted box of celebrations was a lovely touch. Well located to reach different areas of the Brecon Beacons. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The Acorn Aberyscir Shepherd Hut

BethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful few days in Aberyscir - the shepherd’s hut was really cosy and had everything we needed, including some kind extras like milk & Welsh cakes. The view across the fields to Pen Y Fan was spectacular, particularly at sunrise! The hut provided the perfect base for hiking the Horseshoe Ridge walk, which was beautiful, and for getting into Brecon. Thank you for a great stay!

Little Barn

UlrikeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This little cottage is the Most wonderful heartwarming place to enjoy. The Mynydd Troet in view from the wonderful wooden balcony is very special. More so when you got to the top and enjoyed the view of The Valley. Chris always helped with good infos. A good place to be and two lovely cats come by to see wether you want to be friends. Alltogether it is extraordinary! Hope to come back….

Enchanting Cosy Cottage Brecon Beacons

TomRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was an amazing stay, right from the first moment, where Lulu was there to greet with some freshly baked bread, eggs from her chickens, some seasonal vegetables and some locally picked edible herbs/flowers. The place is freshly renovated (to a very high level), extremely cosy and comfortable, with great walks right from the doorstep. The drive to Bannau Brycheiniog spots such as the Pen Y Fan/Corn Du walking routes is just 10 minutes, with other local beauty spots such as the 4 waterfalls walk 30-40 minutes drive. The beds are very comfortable, with Egyptian cotton linen and very nice pillows and duvets. The shower is also fantastic (shame there isn't a bathtub!). The place is an old warden's gate lodge, so it is situated right next to the B4520, but there is rarely traffic on this road so it doesn't disturb the tranquility. We had some problems with the Wifi, it dropped out for around 24 hours, but the host was quick to respond and managed to get it back online for us ASAP!
