Ferns place was exactly as described, extremely homely and comfortable. The location was perfect. With bus and train station very close by it met all our needs. We cannot recommend this home and host enough. My parents lived in London in the 80’s for a while for work, but haven’t been able to get back to visit until now. We were all quite comfortable in this home. The garden is lovely, it is quiet, and looked like the pictures. The location was lovely. Simple to get to Ealing Broadway station and then into all parts of London. Safe, easy-going neighborhood with cute shops/restaurants around the corner. I’m pretty sure we ate at the bakery each morning before catching the bus. Sally was a kind and attentive host. She answered questions before our trip and responded quickly with any questions during the trip. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, convenient stay.

We enjoyed our stay so much! This place is in a wonderful neighborhood - close to everything, but on a quiet charming street. The house is beautiful - clean and organized, with everything you need and no clutter. We appreciated large empty drawers and closets to put away our things, and very clear instructions about how to work everything. The clothes washer/dryer, tea kettle, large TV, and AC unit were nice extra amenities. Danielle was very responsive and helpful. The home is cozy, but with plenty of space for a family of 4. We would definitely book this again next time we are in London and recommend it highly to others!

We had a great stay over and Sam was an excellent host in our stopover in London over New Years’. He was extremely responsive before and during our stay; proactive in letting us know about little quirks with the home - it is over 250 year’s old, but has many charming and modern amenities to make it work. The kitchen was well set up and he left us with a few very thoughtful provisions to get through the New Years. The neighborhood really can’t be beat for activity while staying out of the bustle of the heart of London; many great restaurants, shops (if you have kids, I recommend Flying Tiger throughout Europe for fun stuff - one is an 8 minute walk away), and groceries. Transportation is right outside the door. Sam’s home made an excellent home base for our stay in London, much better than staying in a hotel.

Erika was a great host. Always responsive and friendly. The home was clean and well organised, the entry via key code was simple and straightforward and Erika was very accommodating with regard to check-in time.

My husband and kids were absolutely thrilled with the space; there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to prepare meals, and the living areas were perfect for family movie nights. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful townhouse in Kensington. It’s conveniently located near Earl’s Court Tube station, Kensington High Street, and great restaurants and shops. The charming and quiet neighborhood made for a relaxing retreat after exploring London. The spacious, clean, and stylishly decorated townhouse had a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and multiple bathrooms. Vincenzo, our host, provided clear instructions and was responsive to our questions. The check-in process was smooth, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home. This townhouse was the perfect base for our London adventure. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city.

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Badezimmer sind mit Heizung und kleinen Fläschchen Duschschaum/Shampoo ausgestattet. Neu renoviert. U-Bahn Station ganz in der Nähe. Ca. 5min Fußweg. Die Wohnung befindet sich im Untergeschoss in ruhiger Wohnlage. Mit Serge kann man super kommunizieren. Antwortet sehr schnell. An und Abreise war flexibel. Durften am Abreisetag sogar noch bis Nachmittags unsere Taschen unterstellen. Sehr nett! Ich würde die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank!

Tara has a lovely four story Victorian house; we stayed in the top three stories. The kitchen is well-equipped and the eating area is spacious. I stayed in a queen bed on the second floor and Park stayed in a king bed on the third floor. The second and third floors have lovely bathrooms, and a washer and dryer are in the second floor bathroom. The beds and linens were comfortable. The decor of the house is very modern. The only problem we had was with the very high tech front door lock, which operates from your cell phone’s Bluetooth and the lock’s app. At one point, I was locked into the house and my husband was locked out. I contacted our co-host Romain, and he walked me through taking the lock apart and explaining how we could lock and unlock the door. He was quick to respond and very helpful and pleasant. One comment: the stairways are narrow and curved at the top, just as all Victorian homes have. The area is peaceful and quiet; the view of the back garden is lovely.

Splendid house in excellent condition. The best we visited during our 10 day trip around the UK. Quiet neighbourhood, and only the faintest noise despite the short walk to the underground. Garden table and chairs a very welcome plus for a sunny outdoor breakfast. Will definitely try to stay here again if we return to London as a family.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Almost better than the pictures :) Beautiful house in East London close to Victoria park and areas like Dalston, Hackney and Shoreditch. The tube is close, so you can easily get around greater London too. Jonathan and Matt are very helpful and flexible with everything. They gave us loads of really great tips about restaurants, bars and things to do. 10/10, would definitive stay here again.

La maison de Nadia est encore mieux que sur les photos .Un endroit cosy et très bien équipé surtout dans la cuisine . J’ai pu tranquillement préparer les repas de Noël pour notre famille. Les lits sont très moelleux. Nadia est une hôte très sympathique et réactive à nos moindres questions. Le petit jardin est un vrai plus. Chose très appréciée : Nadia s’est occupée des démarches pour pouvoir stationner la voiture devant la maison ou presque . Le quartier est très calme. Merci Et belle fin d’année

Thank you Sabreena. We had an amazing time in Forest Hill. It was the perfect mix of city and rest and relaxation. It is a really easy walk to the station to get into central London. However the local restaurants are also really good. The house is so spacious, with comfy beds and a great shower. The parking space was also a real plus for the area. I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The place was exceptionally clean, and it was clear that the hosts take great pride in maintaining their property. The location is fantastic—perfectly situated near wonderful restaurants, local shops, and attractions. I loved being able to explore the area easily and still have a cozy retreat to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. This was fantastic. My mother, toddler and I all stayed here and the place was lovely, quiet, felt very "lived-in" so it was comfortable and not like a show-home or something where you feel you can't touch any of the surfaces. Definitely a home-from-home. Richard was responsive and caring and honestly, it couldn't have been better. An easy walk to restaurants/ groceries and right next to a park and historic home with gardens. Perfect.
