“What can we say about Felicia? A story will suffice. We decided to eat at the little restaurant that's about a 15 minute walk from A Piece of Heaven. As we waited for our order, an unexpected thunderstorm flashed and boomed its way in. The rain beat on the metal roof so loudly that my wife and I almost had to shout about how we'd be soaked if it didn't let up. Night was falling and Felicia rushed in, hair sopping wet to see if we were okay. She had seen us leaving earlier. She said she'd come for us in an hour and dashed back to her bakke. After a fine meal and some wine we stepped out as the rain ended to find Felicia there to bring us back. That's the kind of hospitality we experienced. Every tourist tip was spot on. She read our tastes perfectly. Every glowing review is accurate. The sound of the surf alone makes this a great place - and there's so much more!”
Unreal property on a headland with 360 degree views. Spectacular piece of ground. Accommodation is in 2 converted containers joined by a deck with hammock & braai . Pet friendly. Extremely private headland. We have registered a paragliding site on the property which has a separate entrance, so you may see paragliders launching off the drop off out front between 10 & 4. Agnes looks after the Indigenous Nursery during the week & Gift is the host & maintenance guy that lives on the property.
“This place was the greatest stay in our journey and we definitely fall in love with this accommodation. You have a fantastic view on the river an the ocean with a wonderful sunset. There was everything you need, no especially more than you except. Checking in and checking out was without any problems. The great host makes our stay unforgettable. We would book it definitely again.”
Delightful private little hide-away beneath the Melkhout trees, in the heart of Wilderness. Close to the Touws river and 15 minutes scenic walk along the Kingfisher hiking trial to the village. You might be lucky enough to spot a Knysna Loerie (Turaco).
“This little piece of gold is really a great place to stay. Everything you need in a small space. The mini kitchen is enough to make breakfast and the bathroom is really well equipped. We only had one insect in the room, which is nothing, because the hut stands on a small rise in the middle of trees. Check in and check out was easy and straightforward. The parking lot is right outside the door. Important: The exact address cannot be found via Google, but Mia and Herman help quickly here.”
