The cozy 1 room Bunkie with a large deck, sits atop a boathouse overlooking the Madawaska River. Inside the Bunkie is like a small cabin, behind is an outdoor summer kitchen with amenities. A bathroom with shower is inside the main house a few steps from the Bunkie. On the property there is a Dock, River Deck, Fire Pit, and an Orb oasis. Guests must be able to use stairs to access the various areas of the property.
“The house of Merna and Barney is just beautiful, from the outside, as from the inside. It lacks nothing, you have thought of everything, coffee maker with pads, toaster, grill, dishes, etc. The cottage (on the left in the photo) is warm, even in October, only at -2 °, the outdoor kitchen is something for nature boys but everything is there too. The house is not far from the park. We got a lot of tips the two. The two are so warm, you just have to like them. We would come back anytime”

“Highly Recommend - Karen and John were wonderful hosts. They met us for the check-in and gave us a tour of the RV which was helpful because we had not stayed in an RV before. The RV itself is just as described, beautifully appointed, sparkling clean and On the Lake!!. It had all the facilities that made our stay comfortable - heat, running hot water and well equipped kitchen. The park pass that was provided came in handy and helped save us $20 per day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will surely be back next year!!”

“Upon arrival, 18:30, both myself and my girlfriend were greeted by Ken who made an excellent dinner at the main building for both of us. We then proceeded to our cabin which was spacious, clean, and even had a jacuzzi in it. During our 5 day stay it was quiet and peaceful. A great getaway for a couple. Ken was great to talk to and and gave us tips and suggestion as to what and where to explore in the area. Thanks for great time”
