Our gracious home 'Nirvana' is the closest and most convenient to the CBD overlooking Latimer Square and Transitional Cathedral. There is private access, off street parking, a breakfast area, spa and netflix. We have 2 bedrooms, each with ensuite and superking beds. The main bedroom also has 2 single beds, the 2nd room has a single bed. Ask about a special rate for 1-3 guests.

Really clean! just like what other reviews mentioned. There's heater in the shared bunk bed room too. Private parking for guest so you don't have to park by the road side.

Such a cozy, cute hotel and with the tram running right in front! Lots of attractions nearby and good restaurants.

This is excellent value for money. Having limited WIFI is weird for air bnb, but otherwise is was far more spacious than I expected.

What a great hostel ! Probably the BEST accommodation you can find in Lake Tekapo! The hosts replied super quick and were really helpful! Really great location and such a lovely, cozy bedroom! The shared bathrooms were super clean and there were totally enough showers/toilets (we felt like we didn‘t even have to share ours with other guests, they were just across the room). The shared kitchen/dining rooms were super spacious, tidy and clean! There were many kitchen utensils we could use and the shared space was very cozy and welcoming! A lovely hostel in a great location! We would definitely come again! ☺️

I was a little surprised by the listing, as I have always had fully equipped apartments so far and had not considered a hotel similar overnight stay. But since I liked the listing, the proximity to the center as well as the Banks Peninsula, the connection with public transportation and the price, I chose this place and didn't regret it. I was very kindly received by the hotel manager who showed me everything and had good recommendations for the city and cafes nearby. I deliberately searched for a place a little off the beaten path and wanted to have the opportunity to leave the car in addition to a quiet environment. Nevertheless, in my opinion a private car is crucial for the location, as there are only two cafes within walking distance. Restaurants are further away and easier to reach by car. I enjoyed it here very, very much! Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The sleeping area contains two spacious beds, each topped with multiple white pillows. The light green patterned bedspread adds texture. Simple nightstands, equipped with reading lamps, are positioned on either side, enhancing the room's functionality.

We had a great overnight stay after our long haul flight. The motel was a 15minute bus ride from the airport with a stop right outside the motel.There was a mini store across the road so able to get a meal ingredients so a decent meal in the room.Otherwise plenty restaurants on the street.That same bus stop was the route to the city centre and the beautiful park was only 100 metres away. The room was clean comfy and a good shower.The guy at reception was very nice and helpful

Cathy's place was perfect for our one night stay. She was kind enough to offer us an upgrade due to a cancellation, which we very much appreciated. The unit was very spacious, clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. It was well heated and the bed was very comfortable. We would recommend a stay at Cathy's place - it certainly met our expectations as a great place to relax after a full day of exploring.

Rilla gave us a tour of the hotel, which was really interesting. She and Bernie are excellent hosts, making great progress on the renovation and restoration of this historic Timaru hotel. Our room was large and comfortable, with access to a shared kitchen for basic meal preparation. Handy to The Bay snd some very good eateries. We enjoyed our 4 nights and would definitely stay again.
