Hallstatt Lakeview House

Our house is in the heart of Hallstatt. The famous lake-street is in 1 minute walking distance, yet it is a very silent place to live in. The kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony is a real treat for summer nights viewing the silent lake. There is one master bedroom and and additional bedroom with 2 single beds (bunk bed). There is no need for a vehicle in town since everything is in walking or hiking distance (marketplace, shopping, ossuary of the chatholic church). A TV is available.

The former barn is originally converted into a holiday home of a special kind, 144 m² on two levels. Surrounded by 2 ha of meadow, 1 ha of forest, a place for retreat, for family holidays, for "Simply Being in Hollenstein." Swimming, tennis, cycling (Ybbstag cycle path right outside the door), hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing right by the house if the snow allows! 3 km from the center of Hollenstein, very good infrastructure.

Use our accommodation for up to 6 people as a starting point for excursions to the beautiful lakes and mountains in the area. By car, you can reach Schörfling am Attersee in 5 minutes or Gmunden am Traunsee in 20 minutes Terrace and garden in a quiet location are available and invite you to relax after an eventful day. There are also secure places for your bicycles, with which you can follow the nearby Salzkammergut cycle path.

The spacious house was renovated with a lot of love in 2024, quiet garden with terrace and barbecue facilities, 3 minutes to the motorway, quiet location, good local transport, 5 minutes to the Bad Schallerbach thermal world / Eurothermenresort. 5 minutes to Schmiding Zoo The city of Wels is also very easy to reach and Linz is only 30 minutes away. You are surrounded by nature in this house. With a wonderful view onto the lake Attersee from the kitchen, the atelier/office and the balcony. It is super calm here, you can hear the birds in the morning, watch deer passing by – if your are lucky. It takes 20 minutes by foot to get to the lake.
