Stonehouse annexe is a self-contained extension within a 350 year old Grade 2 listed property. Potten End is situated just outside the perimeter of Ashridge Estate, with the lovely town of Berkhamsted 5 minutes' drive away. The village has two pubs, a village store-cum-café, and Berkhamsted has many quality pubs and restaurants. The main house is lived in by Trevor, and Graham lives a few miles away. We are both keen cyclists and walkers and can offer guidance about the local area.

Located just 40 mins from central London, resting on top of the Chess Valley sits Hilly Hideaway. This beautiful lodge offers stunning walks, easy access to London and Warner brother studio tour. The lodge has been renovated by the owners and showcases their flair for design while retaining that farmstead feel. It benefits from a fully equipped kitchen, its own private hot bath over looking the stunning chess valley, a bbq area and free play on our established 13 hole Disc golf course.

Set on a working stable yard surrounded by private ancient woodland accessible to guests. Private fenced garden, however not secure on one side for a determined dog.

Adjoining our period home in peaceful Oxhey Village, The Pad is a great place to unwind. There’s free Wi-Fi and off-street parking. And should you need it, EV charging is also available. At The Pad, you’ll be just 10 minutes’ walk from Bushey Station (17 minutes to London Euston). And there are three Underground stations within a 13-minute drive. Little Knoll Barn is a rustic, cosy self catering accommodation, offering a king size bed & travel cot & or hi chair if required. For pets we provide a water bowl, dog towel & disposal bags. We are located close to the M1, A1, M25 and Luton Airport. We are also conveniently near Harpenden Train station with fast links into Kings Cross St Pancras and Eurostar. Its location makes it the ideal place to stay close to some local places of interest such as St Albans.
