This is a luxury vacationhome with all the amneties for a modern day vacation has two big bedroom and two wonderful bathrooms. The living room features a woodstove. There is TV, wifi and fast fiber internet. Around the house there are two terraces and a magnificent view of the lake! A wonderful place to relax.

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Guesthouse "De Cranvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and in the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The cabin contains a bedroom, bath and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

Nature cottage the Twadde Hûske

Het Twadde Hûske is an apartment (opened April 2025) with underfloor heating which can be booked for 4 people. In consultation for 5 or 6 people by adding a folding mattress and/or camping bed, but this is only suitable for short stays. Further on, you can read more about the layout of the apartment. The houses in the park are both permanently inhabited and rented out for vacation. You can walk, cycle and mountain bike to your heart's content in the area. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easy to reach. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

In de winter zit je heerlijk knus binnen bij de houtkachel die de ruimte binnen no-time verwarmd. De tinyhouse is compact maar van alle gemakken voorzien!

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. Guesthouse "De Bisschops' Stee"

Our house is a former business premises and had quite a bit of space left over. Where previously the shop/office spaces with customer toilet were, in the fall of 2019 we created a bedroom, living room with kitchenette (with coffee and tea facilities/fridge) and toilet/shower. The shop entrance is now a private entrance for our guest house. Ordering breakfast is possible, but this is not included in the base price as standard.
