Chalet vacation rentals in Wales

The caravan was really nice and in great condition. The site is in a great location for exploring the island. It had everything we needed and the games for the kids was a real bonus. It was handy having the air fryer too for ease of use. We really enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Rosie’s place. She was very responsive and proactive in order to avoid any issues during our stay. Do not hesitate, you won’t regret it! Thanks again for having us!

Our stay was lovely! The chalet was even nicer then the pictures, if you can believe. Perfect amount of room for two. Liz and Allie were communicative throughout and provided a helpful information sheet before our stay. The road is rocky but worth it for the privacy and the treetop views. We will 100% be staying again. Thank you for a beautiful, relaxing weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Came for a friend's wedding at the King Arthur Hotel which is an easy 10/15 min walk up the road with gorgeous views and lots of sheep. Simon and Em were really responsive and super flexible about our check in/out time (very much appreciated by 3 hungover girls on the Sunday after the wedding), quick to respond to our questions and really friendly and generous. The property is exactly as described, clean and comfortable with gorgeous views. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful break with our teens at the Seashack. Aberdovey is a lovely little spot and the chalet sits above it with beautiful estuary views. The chalet was well equipped, clean and the beds and bedding were really comfortable. In terms of location, it was peaceful and quiet, a lovely spot to chill however if you had mobility issues and wanted to go anywhere from the chalet you would have to drive. The walk to the village is steep and about 20minutes. The WiFi wasn’t great which didn’t bother my husband and I, just bear it in mind if you have teens who need constant connection to their friends and the latest viral memes. Our suggestion of the board games in the chalet were met with raised eyebrows and shaking heads. We loved the Dolgoch falls which was a fairly easy climb and not far. We also had a fantastic time white water rafting in Bala, this was an hours drive but worth it. Overall, a really lovely place for a little break.

This is our third time staying in Melissa’s caravan and we had a great time! The location is perfect and a short drive from some beautiful beaches (Llanbedrog, Ty Coch, Abersoch and Criccieth to name some). The caravan decking overlooks the marina which makes it a lovely place to eat dinner each evening. The site is very quiet and we enjoyed using the swimming pool and indoor and outdoor play areas with our child each day. Would definitely recommend!

Had a fabulous time, despite mixed weather. The accommodation was warm and cosy and plenty big enough for 2 adults plus 2 large kids (aged 19 and 17) and the dog. Sunset view brilliant and always ferries from Holyhead on the horizon. Enclosed garden for the dog and as great even though she barked at everyone walking past on the footpath (sorry). Next to campsite, but nobody was there when we were as too early in the season. Easy walk to the beach which was a brilliant spot as well as coastal path walks. Cafe in Church Bay just opened for the season where we had a cold beer after a day doing walks. One day out, we went in the direction of Caemas, another to Holy Island and Treaddur Bay and the sunniest day was a bit further away at Newborough. Been to Anglesey lots of times and it never disappoints.

What a lovely lodge right next to the river. Will definitely be returning to this accommodation.

Great short stay at the chalet on a very green and pretty park & the river out your door . Everything we needed , warm and dry . Bottle Opener and corkscrew 😊. Dogs settled straight in !

We had a lovely stay. The views were beautiful. There was no phone signal, but the internet was good. Only thing to be aware of is not all the rooms are accessible from the communal space, though this didn't bother our group.

What a wonderful stay we had here! We loved every second of this relaxing cabin, the hotub and location was just an added bonus. Such a nice getaway if you’re wanting a spa like break, would highly recommend. It is close by to Chester and Wales, so you won’t be stuck on what to do. The location is also full of wildlife, and the hotub was very clean which made it more enjoyable.

Realy enjoyed our stay at Scotts caravan. It was peacefull, quite private at the back, lots to do with the kids on site. We had a great time and would reccomend to others who might be interested. Jon

Lovely and welcoming stay at the lodge. Myself and friends all joined with our children and was what we expected. We enjoyed using the kitchen / dining room for our New Year’s Eve / Day plans and was able to make full use of the kitchen as desired for our roast dinner. Beautiful scenery surrounding the lodge and especially a great view from the king size room looking out onto the lake. Only downfall was that there were a lot of hornets / flies inside the lodge during our stay Thank you for a lovely stay Gethin.

Host was SO helpful & responded very fast. Place is very lovely, peaceful and lovely views from the decking & the main bedroom. Close to Snowdon too, thank you 🤍

Jamie and Sarah were lovely hosts. Everything was as expected. Barney my dog loved to sit outside on the bank and watch the world go by. Then take a walk over the hills to the beach. Very quiet and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay! Emma was a fantastic host—her communication was excellent, always quick to respond and super helpful. She even shared details about events happening in the park during our visit, which was a lovely touch. The chalet was lovely and clean and had all the amenities listed. What a find! We wanted a place that was private, had sea views but which was not too isolated…oh and which didn’t cost the earth. Tim’s place fitted the bill perfectly. The views off the decking and from within the caravan were amazing. It gets the sun all day and the views were genuinely spectacular. Access to the beach was even better than expected. Maybe a saunter of a minute and you’re on the beach! Access to Abersoch a,ohh the beach was lovely, so good in fact that we didn’t get the car out for the whole stay. The caravan was excellent. The single best were extremely slimline but I think that’s just how they are in statics -I’m not too experienced in that respect. The shower was nice and hot and the kitchen was the best equipped we’ve ever had in an Air BnB. There was even a little welcome pack with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. This is an absolute gem and we will be recommending it to our friends.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful sea front lodge! The views were absolutely stunning. The lodge itself was incredibly spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the unexpected highlights was the wine fridge – such a nice touch that made our evenings even more enjoyable! Despite being in a busier area, the lodge felt incredibly peaceful and private, offering the perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. We booked this as a special treat for my mum’s 50th birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. She absolutely loved it and felt so spoiled. The setting, the comfort, and the little extras made it a truly memorable celebration. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic, comfortable, and relaxing break by the sea. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a lovely stay at Little Gem! The whole place was immaculate and stylishly decorated - Hannah really has thought of everything. We particularly appreciated the fluffy towels, comfy beds and plenty of hot water. TV, DVDs and Wi-Fi were all a welcome bonus. Location is perfect for exploring the local area but also for peace and relaxation whilst admiring the amazing view.

This was our second stay at Pebbles airbnb. We have stayed in quite a few of the holiday houses in Trewent Park but we loved Pebbles last year so booked it again. Super clean, really comfy beds, great kitchen and lovely L shaped sofa! We really appreciated the milk in the fridge and the bottle of wine and welsh cakes. Great location, so close to the beach. We will definitely be back again!

Perfect place to stay in Pembrokeshire to explore great beaches. Great place to make your base. Exactly as described. Really helpful information about what's there and what you need to bring. We've stayed at Trewent Park 3 times now and this was the closest walk to the beach of all those we've stayed in. Parking space also immediately outside which is really handy with small children. We love having a beach with a river to play with within a few minutes. Not too far in the car to other great beaches such as Broadhaven and Manobier. Not too far if you want a towny day too in Tenby or Saundersfoot.

I went out of season to avoid the crowds (sept 3rd to 8th) and found the location very quiet and peaceful and just a few minutes walk to a sandy beach. The weather was perfect all week, the accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for a self catering holiday. The property backed onto woodland that was alive with Tawny owls at night and fascinating to sit and listen. Penny was very responsive to all questions prior to my arrival. Its wasn't my first time in south Pembrokshire. Its a stunning coastline and this property is a perfect base to explore it both on foot or by car. Pembroke has everything you need, and is only 10/15 mins away in the car. Thanks again Penny.
