We had a wonderful stay! Mohit and Pooja were warm and welcoming, and the caretaker, Poonam, was very helpful. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway—calm, close to nature, and away from city noise. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. They even let us use a kids’ room filled with toys and books, which our toddler absolutely loved. It made the stay so much easier and more enjoyable for us. The food was delicious and homely. We especially loved the yellow daal fry—our toddler enjoyed it so much that I even asked Poonam for the recipe! Overall, a lovely, relaxing stay—perfect for a weekend close to nature. Highly recommended!

The location is breathtaking—surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful hills, and fresh mountain air. It’s the perfect escape from the city chaos and a haven for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature. The cottage itself is cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. Every corner reflects warmth and comfort, making it feel like a home away from home. The food served here was another highlight—delicious, fresh, and made with so much care. Every meal was a treat! A special mention goes to Gopal ji, the caretaker, who truly made our stay exceptional. He was incredibly responsive, always ready to help with anything we needed, and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. His hospitality and kindness made a lasting impression on us.

I have been to Shimla many times but this vacation was special as I took my complete family including my old age mom for the first time. Thanks to Punita's Airbnb which had parking right at the house and open garden space for us to chill out. The rooms were are very clean and kitchen had all the essentials. Bonus is prime location as it is just 5 min drive to Mall road. Thanks to Punita for being excellent host who helped with all my request. Would definitely visit there again.

Tranquillitas is a peaceful, charming property, very well maintained by the host. It is no more than three quarters of an hour from Shimla, a real haven in the madhouse that Shimla has become. It provides easy access to the Mall, the Ridge and other hill stations in the area. The residence itself provides clean and welcoming rooms, with a separate kitchenette and dining area. Our breakfast under the trees on the last day was a highlight, as were the babbling birds to whom we woke each morning. The host was friendly and offered us useful suggestions about how to best utilise our short stay. Thanks so much!
