Great property, great host, and wonderful stay! The property is spacious, well appointed, very clean and fresh, and a retreat away from home! We really enjoyed our stay with 3 adults and 6 kids at the property. We had plenty of space, enjoyed the fireplace with the wood provided, and even the chickens. As we have chickens at home that just added to the appeal. This location worked really well for hitting the glowworms and Hobbiton!

My stay at Matt's place with two of my colleagues was perfect in every possible way. The place itself was lovely and clean, we couldn't believe how gorgeous it was! The price was very affordable and definitely worth it. Matt was very quick to respond to all my requests during my stay but I didn't find that I had many as everything was clearly communicated beforehand. If I am to visit Ohaupo again, this will be my first choice!

had a lovely quick stay here to break up the long road trip we were on. Kids loved the pool and the location is an easy drive to everywhere in Hamilton. Beds were super comfy! recommended!

We wanted a simple farm stay with the opportunity to have some animal feeding and enjoy a relaxing time out of the city and we got exactly what we wanted. Quiet surroundings, flexible feeding time, decent range of animals, private and extremely clean unit with everything you need and more, quick drive takes you to a nearby cafe which had fantastic food and drinks, and Woolworths was also a nearby drive. Hosts were amazing and super responsive to all our questions. Highly recommended and we hope to have the chance to stay again if we ever return to New Zealand.

The Tree House is big and spacious, very well suited to a family or group. Lots of windows and sliding doors onto verandas, room for everyone to have their own space. Comfortable furniture, everything we needed.

We had a fantastic stay! The location is perfect close to everything we needed yet peaceful and quiet. The home itself is absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. One of our favorite features was the EV car charger such a great convenience and definitely appreciated. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We’ll definitely be booking again next time we’re in the area!

Our family loved staying at Heemi's home for a short holiday and to move our son into University. The house was clean, comfortable and clutter free, with high-quality furniture, a lovely kitchen and comfortable beds. The number of bedrooms (4), toilets (2) and showers (2) made it perfect for our family of 5. The house layout is excellent with bedrooms separated from the living areas. Excellent off-street parking. Only a short drive up the road to Hamilton City itself for shops/places to eat. Heemi was very responsive to messages and helpful. Highly recommend. Thank you Heemi!

Great house for 6 people to stay in with plenty of space. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Robyn was very accommodating with any requests and was extremely prompt with communication. A lovely quiet spot to stay within easy walking distance to town.

We stayed in Hamilton as a central location to do day trips to the places we wanted to go. Sarna's place was perfect for the three of us. It was a bit of a tight squeeze to get the car to the back of the house where we had a covered parking spot right next to the rental. Loved the kitchen and having the separate washer and dryer.

Sabrina was very flexible with check-in time ,and the house met our needs entirely.

We had a great stay, lovely home and good communication. Highly recommend.

This has been by far, the best, most beautiful, relaxing, unique, and spectacular place we have stayed. It is out of city limits with very dark skies for star viewing. Our hosts were incredibly thoughtful with light food items, fresh flowers, and toiletries. I would go out of my way to stay here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Diane's beautiful home. The location is excellent – walking distance to Waikato University, grocery stores, and warehouse shopping, which made everything so convenient. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, perfect for families. The house itself is immaculate and spacious, with plenty of room for our kids to play both indoors and outdoors. The surrounding trees created a lovely, natural atmosphere that we all enjoyed. Diane was an exceptional host – incredibly helpful, responsive, and quick to answer any questions. We felt right at home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Hamilton, especially families.
