We had a pleasant enjoyable stay for almost a month at this clean spacious apartment. Ranjith was a very helpful host going above and beyond to assist us. He is very helpful and attentive. Unit was very clean and equipped with all the essentials needed to make our stay comfortable. building also has a generator which a huge benefit during power cuts. Residency has its own security guard which is great for safety and privacy. Very easy convenient check in and check out. Great place to stay!

Nice location - short tuk tuk ride or hot walk to many local sights. Safe guarded complex. Supermarket in apartment complex, pool is large (3 different sizes) with a small playground for kids and views of the Lotus tower, and also a gym on the same floor. inside is spacious, clean and with air cons in the rooms.

I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment. It is located on the second floor and has a private entrance. The host was very responsive and provided a blender, a computer desk, and even a scooter. The location is convenient—just a 15-minute walk to the nearest beach and 15-20 minutes to a store, cafés, and a small fruit market for locals. Lakshan was always available, and when the water heater broke, it was repaired very quickly. As is common in Sri Lanka, ants may appear, so they need to be dealt with using repellents. I am very satisfied with my stay. The host was truly attentive and always helped me with any questions I had.

First of all, I want to thank the wonderful landlady Gayani, she did everything to change our stay in Sri Lanka. Very sensitive, kind and caring landlady, we felt at home. One of the best apartments we have visited, an incredibly beautiful place, panoramic windows, the view from the window will delight you every day, birds singing, a great pool and a gym. In real life, the apartments look exactly like in the photos. A little far from the main attractions, but if you love comfort and silence, then these apartments are ideal! We will definitely come again, thank you.

I was in Colombo for work, followed by a vacation with my family. Romesh's place was perfect for my 2 weeks of work in Colombo. The apartment is centrally located close to several restaurants. Romesh and Janak were very responsive throughout my stay. Check in was very easy and Janak welcomed me and oriented me to the place. The apartment is very well maintained with AC in all the rooms, and a good WIFI connection. The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, microwave and all the implements for cooking and eating. The location is secure and I had no concerns about safety or security. Hotel Janki is close to the apartment and I had several meals there and use of the swimming pool for a small fee. When I am in Sri Lanka, I normally stay in my own house, which is currently rented out. Romesh's place was as good as staying at my own house. Thank you.

We absolutely loved Amila and Hannahs apartments. So peaceful - a place to really unwind and away from the hustle and bustle of hikkiduwa. We spent our evenings on our private balcony listening to nature. Hannah was so responsive in the lead up to the stay and Amila made sure that we had everything we needed when checking in. Amila also sorted us a scooter and even had snorkels we could borrow to swim with turtles. The place is truly one of a kind , we couldn’t recommend it enough

The most amazing stay in Colombo! Situated in the high area of the city, it was the best place to relax after a long trip in Sri Lanka! really enjoyed and recommend

A fantabulous stay that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and quality. Will definitely be returning. The fully-equipped open kitchen is a culinary dream – every appliance and utility you could imagine was right at your fingertips The overall cleanliness and organization were simply top-notch. As a bonus, the gym access was a major plus : the equipment was well-maintained. An Absolute Gem.

We traveled as a group of 6 to Villa Acres Green for a one-night getaway. The place was truly beyond our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to the place! The property is spacious and gives you a sense of seclusion from the rest of the world. The vast garden is scattered with lots of trees, a pond and a well maintained lawn with benches and hammocks for a nice evening chill. The pool is much bigger than you’d expect and was clean. The tiles in the pool are starting to break so a little caution would be advised. We opted to get our food prepared at the property. The BBQ dinner was excellent, but the Sri Lankan breakfast (kiri bath) was only average. It’s possible that the food maybe a hit of miss in our experience. The rooms were nice; spacious and clean! The A/C cooled well which was more than appreciated since the days were scorching! All in all, we had a fantastic experience at the property and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hikkaduwa.

Chami and his family made us feel comfortable and were very helpful in all matters. Their home was cozy and clean. We spent most of our time on the balcony when we were home. The fireflies at night and birds all day really added to the experience. It was great to be away from the craziness of Hikkaduwa but close enough to be convenient. There were a few tiny shops around to get water and a few things, otherwise the town is only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride away. We walked to town a few times as well which took about 20 to 30 minutes. We will definitely stay with Chami and his lovely family if we come again. Thanks for a memorable and happy experience🤗🌻

Have just spent our 2nd stay here. For us, the garden is why we returned, which is kept very tidy by Velu. So peaceful to relax in during the day, with plenty of varied wildlife to entertain you during the day, especially the chipmunks. Our bedroom was comfortable, bed linen clean, a/c & ceiling fan kept it cool. Bathroom/ shower room ample size and more than satisfactory. Kitchen had everything as described, which includes the washing machine. We spent 99% of our time outside either in the garden or under the spacious veranda. No issue with WiFi. Keels supermarket 4 min walk away which has everything you might need. Good local food outlets, and we have tried them all in the past 2 years with no problems. Best find was Crepe Runner which is well worth the 10min stroll. Felt safe and secure with Velu on hand for anything you might need, together with Chaminder who will pop round at least twice a day, to check that everything is fine. Would have no hesitation staying again.

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

We spent a month here – it's almost a perfect place! The Internet is ideal for work, including video calls. Comfortable bed with new mattress. The bathroom is a delight! The toilet and shower are separated from each other, and the hot water is really unlimited hot water and with great pressure. The kitchen has everything except the Turks for making coffee, but it's a small thing. We made friends with our dogs and played often. They really bark, but only when someone comes, which in our case was very rare. The hosts are wonderful people, it was easy and pleasant to communicate on all issues. There is no noise insulation between our and neighboring apartments at the expense of a thin door in an adjacent wall. We rented this apartment too and used them as a separate office. When someone arrives at the villa, you can hear absolutely everything that happens on the street at any time of the day. In any case, my rating is 10 out of 10 because all the listed pros more than compensate for the minor shortcomings. Thank you!

This was our second stay at Mayurie’s place, and it truly feels like a second home for our family. The communication was friendly, and the stay was very comfortable. Highly recommended if you're visiting SriLanka for a holiday. It also offers easy access to High-Level Road and plenty of nearby restaurants.

Chatura was a great host in that he went out of his way to educate us on pending power cuts, offering us the opportunity of early check in and late check out. He was an amazingly considerate host and offered a comfortable house including a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the private pool so much. There was one safety concern especially for groups travelling with kids however, which is the lack of a pool screen and a sloping pool edge which was slippery.

A perfect stay with a lovely family as hosts. Right from the booking to the day of check-in and beyond, Chanuka was very proactive in checking on us, recommending modes of travel, nearby restaurants, and everything! We had a warm welcome by Chanuka's father with a refreshing welcome drink who showed us around the place and offered assistance anytime. Just as a family member would, he advised us to be careful while stepping out at night, offered to cook food, made us feel very welcome and right at home. Meeting and interacting with Chanuka and his lovely family was truly a pleasure. Mango House 1 is just perfect in every aspect with every facility available for a comfortable stay, and is maintained very well with great personal attention. We were even offered an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast and it was super delicious and healthy. I gladly 100% recommend Chanuka's Mango House 1 as the best place to stay in Galle for a loving memory to cherish always!

I recently stayed at Chathura Place Borella Apartment, and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the super friendly host, making the check-in process incredibly smooth and hassle-free. The apartment itself feels just like a home away from home. It’s well-equipped with all the basic cooking utensils and appliances you might need, allowing you to prepare your own meals comfortably. The kitchen setup is great for anyone looking to cook rather than eat out. One of the most convenient features is the Food City located right under the apartment, making it incredibly easy to get any basic necessities without going far. The space is clean, well-maintained, and offers a cozy ambiance that makes you feel right at home.

Where to start, what a great host, cozy place, felt serenity and place like more than home. Since i booked n approached her, she was very responsive , allowed early check in. She has decorated each n every item in the apartment with special attention and theme. Right from main door till all rooms, beach theme pillows, wall decoration, special souvenirs from across the world, beach theme kitchen cabinets. The place is just few meters from beach, great views of the sun set and beach around and roof top pool of course is a main attraction.. I am thankful to her for being such a great host I would not even think to go anywhere else next time i am in Colombo .

"It was a pleasure staying at Mr. Ranjith’s place in Galle. He was a host who showed parental love and care. Their recommendations on places to visit and transportation to use were very accurate. They have a very positive attitude and caring nature. The rooms were neat and clean, with lots of books to read. It was a very cute and nicely designed place. There are plenty of restaurants around, and the sea breeze was nice while we enjoyed walking around. It's very difficult to say which we enjoyed the most: the stay itself or the warmth of their hospitality. This review would not be complete without mentioning Mrs. Ranjith, who is a woman of wisdom. We had long conversations with them, and they blessed us before we left. Looking forward to visiting them again."

Nihal and Chandra are very friendly and warm hosts. Nihal picked us up at the train station. The property is also within walking distance and about 10 minutes from Galle Fort. Everything was decorated and labeled with a lot of love. Even a guide with instructions was created for the guests. Nihal also provides a scooter with a helmet, for a minimum daily flat rate. The place was clean. In the area, you are among the locals and can also eat cheaply. A small supermarket is 5 minutes away. But there is also a vegetable and fruit market in the area if you want to cook yourself. Should we travel to Sri Lanka again, we will be happy to come back. Filiz and Stefan

We had a wonderful stay at Tamara’s place! The house was exceptionally clean, AC rooms, beautifully designed, and fully stocked with all the amenities you could need. The location was excellent and convenient, perfect for exploring Colombo. Tamara was a proactive and incredibly kind host, providing clear instructions and making both check-in and check-out a breeze. I absolutely loved my time here and would recommend this home to anyone visiting Colombo without hesitation!

Chathurangi and Jagath were lovely hosts. Very responsive and friendly. Their place is so homely and extremely clean. Cleanliness is very important to us so we were really happy and comfortable.
