Vacation rentals with beach access in Vindö

We had such a wonderful stay at Linda-Marie’s place! It was spotlessly clean, incredibly cosy, and had such a stylish and welcoming vibe — we felt at home the moment we walked in. My sister and I were in Stockholm to visit our brother and spent a few nights here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The space was peaceful and comfortable, and every little detail was thoughtfully put together. The place is 7min walk from the bus and train station and from there it’s only a few stops to Stockholm City. It has all the amenities you might need and also a few more that you didn’t even know you needed (thanks for the clothes steamer and boardgames!). We would absolutely love to stay here again next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous and spacious apartment that was perfect for my family. It was well decorated, and had everything we needed. Amazing views as well, and the small garden in the building was lovely. The location was close to several museums, parks, and public transportation. Easy check in, and Mathias was quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

Wir waren 13 Tage in Schweden und haben sowohl die Wohnung als auch die Menschen und die Umgebung sehr genossen.Wer einfach mal Ruhe von der Hektik dieser Welt braucht ist hier sehr gut bedient.

Perfekte Lage für Ausflüge nach Stockholm und auch für schöne Wanderungen an Seen in der Umgebung. Stockholm ist mit dem Zug gut angebunden. Wir konnten es sehr geniessen:))

Très bel appartement à proximité de Stockholm. Facilement accessible depuis les transports en commun. On peut y faire de belles randonnées autour dans la Forêt et autour des lacs. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

The place is beautiful . Extremely clean, comfortable and warm. The yard behind is lush green and we saw deer on both days! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all amenities possible . Highly recommend their space .

I read the reviews before coming and I can say that they are 100% true! The hosts welcomed us with treats, which we didn't expect at all. We had very nice communication during the stay. The room is so cosy in real life, and the neighbourhood is quiet and nice. You have a metro station just near the apartment within walking distance, a grocery store and nice places to eat in. That was probably the best Airbnb I have ever been to, so I would recommend staying there if it's still available for your dates. We would stay again for sure! Thank you, André and Gunila!

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

Hans & Lena's cottage is a delightful stay. It's beside the water and it was really nice sitting outside with a wine and watching the boats go past. The bed is comfy, the shower is great and the kitchen has all you need. There is a restaurant/bar close by which is also on the water. It's approx 25 mins to central Stockholm but most of the drive is motorway so it's easy driving. If you're looking for something quiet and peaceful this is for you. I recommend. (there is a road at the top of the property that gets busy at times but I didn't notice it after the first day). Thanks for being friendly and helpful hosts 🙂

Wer zu Karl fährt, wird die Liebe und Hingabe zur Architektur und die sich daraus ergebende Harmonie und Ruhe in jedem Detail fühlen können. Wir haben tolle Ausflüge in den Nationalpark mit Rad unternommen- auch die Sanddornknospe bei Gålö ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben die Zeit bei Karl sehr genossen. Er war ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber und hat super schnell auf Fragen reagiert. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert !

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

Ein wunderschönes typisches Schwedenhaus, wie wir es uns gewünscht haben. Traumhafte Lage mit toller Aussicht. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Kind und Hund waren auch ganz begeistert. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet mit allem was man so braucht. Durch das Nebenhaus hat man wirklich viel Platz und das Grundstück ist sehr groß mit vielen kleine Plätzen wo man die Aussicht genießen und die Seele baumeln lassen kann. Zum Wasser und zum Badesteg sind es zu Fuß nur 2 Minuten. Zum nächsten Supermarkt sind es ca. 10 Min. mit dem Auto und nach Stockholm ca. 1 Stunde. Wir waren 2 Wochen da und kommen sicher wieder. Vielen Dank an Lars&Lena für die tolle Zeit in Eurem Haus.

We absolutely loved staying at Magdalena's place, it was impeccable clean and exactly like the photos. We were two young families visiting and enjoyed the living area and ofcourse the sauna. We took walks around the neighbourhood and cooked every day, the beds are very comfy and would love to come back. Also Magdalena is a superhost responding swiftly to all our questions and super accommodating. Thank you so much for having us.

Stayed for a few days with a group of friends. Beautiful location and the accomodation matched pictures and descriptions well. We felt very welcomed and was easy to feel at home. The common space indoors is a bit tight for 8 people so if you intend to hang out indoors a lot it might be good to think about. The view from the house and sauna was stunning. Perfect combo of peace and quiet outside of the city but still comfortable with nice bathrooms etc. Communication & practical arrangements with the host was super smooth and we got help with everything we needed! Would happily book again ☀️

Lots of windows. Beautiful light. Very minimalistic atmosphere which gave a calm and peaceful feeling. Cozy front room with windows, daybed and surrounding views of boats passing by was perfect for coffee and relaxation. Elisabet is an excellent, responsive and kind host. While you cannot take a car there, they have two hand carts available to use when you arrive. If you don’t mind walking, it is a good walk with your suitcases in the carts from the ferry to the home and you’ll get a lot of wildlife, animals and things to see. We enjoyed the nature. Water everywhere. The sunsets were beautiful. Private beach to use (visible to everyone but not available). A sweet market just down the hill with almost everything you may need for a few days. A boat, kayak, SUPs and linens for rent—ask to reserve them ahead of your stay. We loved the experience.

AnnaMaria's home is a little way outside of town but easy to reach by multiple modes of easy to manuever public transportation. I really enjoyed being in a place that felt like home and allowed me to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Another great aspect is the neighborhood. Her place is on a busy street but it doesn't feel like it at all. The community is laid back and just peaceful. I really enjoyed my time and am grateful AnnaMaria allowed me to stay in her place.

We had a lovely time over the holiday’s at Jan place. Very nice apartment and quiet neighborhood. Short walking distance from the train station, that goes straight to central Stockholm, a very nice shopping center, with popular stores and wide rage of grocery stores. Also a short walk distance from nice nature. Jan was very good host, helpful, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend his as a host and his place for rental.

Meget søde og hjælpsomme værter, der hurtigt reagerede på vores besked og eventuelle tvivsspørgsmål. Vi manglende intet i lejligheden og nød hver morgen og aften den skønne udsigt fra den overdækkede balkon eller fra tagterrassen. Lejligheden var flot rengjort over det hele, da vi ankom og indeholdt alt det oplyste udstyr. Alt fungerede uden problemer. En rigtig fin og overskuelig vejledning til boligen var lagt til os. Helt sikkert en bolig, der får den bedste anbefaling herfra.

We had a wonderful stay at Lina's house. It was in a perfect location close to transport in a quiet neighbourhood. We had a small issue with the washing machine on day 1 but Lina was extremely responsive and we had no problems accessing the communal laundry for the rest of our stay. Lina made us feel at home for the 6 nights we stayed and went above and beyond to help make our first visit to Stockholm one to remember. Thanks so much Lina 😀

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place. Absolutely loved our stay at Stefan’s place. He was a very friendly and accommodating host, easy to communicate with, and made us feel warmly welcome from the start. The apartment was exactly as advertised – nicely decorated, well-equipped, and in a peaceful building despite being right in the heart of “Knivsöder.” The highlight was definitely the narrow balcony with its charming glimpse of the water – perfect for morning coffee or a quiet evening drink. The fold-out couch was surprisingly comfortable thanks to the proper mattress, and everything we needed was on hand. The only drawback was the spotty internet connection, especially from the bed. Online meetings worked from the kitchen counter (albeit not at lightning speed), so we assume this is more about the router’s location near the front door and the thick walls than the service itself. Hopefully Stefan can improve it with a repeater or router upgrade – in which case the stay would easily go from five to “six stars.”

My family and I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. The highlight for me was the beautiful, newly built glassed-in terrace—such a perfect spot to relax with a morning coffee or unwind in the evening. The location couldn’t be better—beautiful views, access to public transit and just a short walk to a great selection of restaurants. Host was very good to check in and quickly answer questions. We loved our stay and hope to be back.
