A great time at Catherine and Luc's. The place is quiet, surrounded by nature and close to hiking trails. The welcome by our host was very warm, with the constant desire to make our stay pleasant and to give us some tips to really take advantage of the area. A beautiful place! We highly recommend it!

The property was everything we’d hoped for, peaceful, private and in a beautiful setting. It was equipped with everything we could need, with very comfortable furniture and high quality linens. The kitchen was very well equipped indeed, I loved the air fryer! Colin met us on arrival, unlocking the door and showing us how to operate the shutters before making himself scarce. Although the hosts live next door they’d obviously gone to some effort to make sure the property felt private, we hardly knew they were there. The area is just beautiful with some very scenic villages within a short drive. We’d recommend visiting Montolieu as well as Carcassonne itself. The Lac de la Cavayere is well worth a visit in nice weather and I suspect even more so in summer when all of its activities are in operation. Colin very kindly negotiated with the cleaners to allow us an extra hour before we had to check out - with 7 hours between checkout and our flight this was very much appreciated!

Bernard's and Yolanda place is nice, calm place to unplug for few days near vineyards and small towns. The place is well equipped with everything you need for a countryside stay. Bernard and Yolanda are super attentive and caring hosts. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Beautiful and large building perfectly renovated in a peaceful haven. Located in the countryside surrounded by mountains, in a dream environment for nature lovers. The interior of the house is large and perfectly arranged to allow everyone to have their privacy. Laurence and son.mari are friendly, welcoming and discreet. "A good rating " also to Muriel who welcomed us and was able to be available , kind and efficient. I would highly recommend this beautiful rental.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Carcassonne! From the moment I arrived, the host went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The communication was excellent — responsive, friendly, and thoughtful throughout the entire stay. The house was spotless, stylish, and incredibly well-equipped with everything I could possibly need. It felt like a true home away from home, with lovely touches that showed real care and attention to detail. The location was perfect — peaceful and just a short drive to the medieval cité, shops, and cafes. But what truly made this experience special was the host’s generosity and kindness. Myriam helped with logistics, and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely warm and attentive. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We were hosted very well by Bertrand who was very responsive throughout the stay, as soon as we had a question or problem. The space was exactly as described, with good facilities and good beds. The presence of air conditioning in each room is a plus. The proximity to other families who were staying nearby went well, and we were able to enjoy the pool at our leisure. Finally, one of the big highlights of the accommodation is its location in the middle of the hills, away from the hustle and bustle and allowing you to really find yourself.

We had a very nice stay. The house is cozy, with fireplace, and especially with children ideal – there are many games, puzzles and books. Even on a rainy day, we were able to keep the kids busy so well. Everything is lovingly decorated, there is plenty of space, a very well equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden. A special highlight of course was the fantastic view and an evening walk on the dirt roads that start right behind the house and where there are chickens, cows and donkeys to discover. Joëlle was an attentive host and provided us with many helpful excursion tips and addresses. Thank you – we would have liked to have stayed longer!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this Airbnb home with my family. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by incredibly friendly and attentive hosts. The house itself is beautiful, equipped with air conditioning, which was a real plus on hot days. The splendid pool allowed us to spend hours of fun under the sun. What really marked our stay was the exceptional responsiveness of hosts. When the dishwasher broke down, they immediately took matters into their own hands and brought us a new one on the same day, ensuring our comfort without interruption. In addition, we were pleasantly surprised by small touches, like fresh eggs offered by Mylène, our thoughtful host. The accommodation is also ideal for children, with a multitude of amenities at their disposal. Anyway...a great family holiday.

We had a great night at Morgane's during our bike trip along the Canal du Midi, we took advantage of the garden to rest before resuming our trip, we will definitely be back. Celest and Nathalie.

We had a very nice stay at Brigitte and Jacques's place which is well placed to discover the pretty villages and landscapes of this "Cathar country". The calm of the village allows you to fully enjoy this beautiful hilly nature, and it is a good premise before cruising one of the multiple hiking trails. We had a lovely stay at Christophe and Nathalie's place. This cottage is very well equipped, with a very pleasant garden for young and old. Located halfway between Carcassonne and Narbonne, undoubtedly to be booked.
