We had a very enjoyable stay at The Gathering Place. Our reason for staying in Vermilion was to attend a wedding and therefore we did not do much else in the community. Adrienne was so great to work with, very accommodating and responsive to our requests and needs. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean and welcoming. The renovations are lovely. Ravinder and his staff were very accommodating. They were quick to find what I was looking for at breakfast and made us feel very welcome. It was clear that they want to please their customers: they were eager to find ways to improve their service. We look forward to staying at the Viking Inn again when we return in a few months!

Had a lovely time at this rustic yet cozy cabin. The location is very quiet and private. We enjoyed the treed surroundings and spent most of our time outside. It’s a perfect getaway for those lazy summer days. It was also close to town and the lake. If you love glamping and star gazing, you will love this spot. It was a truly enjoyable experience! It was a pleasure to meet Ernst and to stay on his beautiful farm.

Very picturesque view from both windows. Lots of wildlife in the area including antelope deer and moose. The bed is really comfy. The wifi worked really well. Penny and Ross were very helpful with information about the area. It’s a very peaceful place.
