We would recommend staying in Jean Louis’s house, it was clean and ready when we arrived. Due to the great location, we were able to go on many different hikes. What made the stay even better was a wooden sauna next to the lake and the hospitality of Jean, as he offered us a boat ride. Recommended!

A clean and tidy place to stay. Cozy and functional small apartment. Cozy and everything you need. Central but peaceful location and surroundings. Dealing with the host was smooth and very friendly. Responded quickly, which was a big plus. All in all, it was a pleasant and positive experience of the stay.

This place was perfect and exactly what we needed for a getaway weekend and for us this was only a one hour drive from home. We highly recommend this place for anyone who are looking for a place to relax, have a sauna, sleep well and feel re-energised afterwards. We should have booked a few more days just because we liked the place so much.

The cottage is truly a gem. The location is private and by the pond, only the birds were singing around. The setting in the cottage was perfect and everything has been thought of to make guests feel comfortable. The wood sauna got the best steam for a long time. Everything went great! A great spacious apartment right in the center of Kokkola, just a stone's throw from the train station and services. Communication with Terho went smoothly all the time. Our trip was scheduled last minute due to train cancellations during the day, and we were able to switch stays smoothly for the next day. Highly recommended!

An incredibly nice home in a perfect location. Our family of five adults spent a long weekend at Pia and Roy's place and really enjoyed it. The apartment is large enough to accommodate the whole family, fresh, and well equipped. The hosts responded quickly to messages, were nice, and easy to communicate with. The crown on the work was the wonderful wood sauna with great views. It was big enough to accommodate the whole family and was perfectly on the scale between hot and humid. The nice jetty with a ladder into the water made it easy to take a swim between laps. The location was perfect, the apartment was bright and nice, and we will stay here the next time we visit Jakobstad!
