The Mirror House was just as described and a nice night outside of the city. It was a great place to just sit in the hot tub, relax, and hunt for the Northern Lights. The town ten minutes away was fantastic and there is a lot of exporting the area around the house.

what you see in the pictures is what you get but more, incredible peaceful place to stay at, i stayed 4nights and it was amazing you can hear the waterfall its really close to walk to aswell its the perfect spot if you want peace, i would 100% stay here again final night managed to see the northen lights which makes the place even better. definately worth the money you pay for.

We stayed for a few nights, and the place and location were absolutely breathtaking. You are fairly close to so many beautiful places in Iceland it makes it a great home base for a day of exploring. Coming back after a day out was homey and warm. Jóna had some great maps and recommendations for things to see while there which were also incredible!

It was a very nice quiet time, I was particularly pleased to welcome fresh eggs of my own chickens.

We loved our stay in the little black cabin. The area was so quiet and rural, with the fluffy sheep peeking in through the windows and the herd of Icelandic horses in the background. At first we were a bit hesitant about the (lack of) kitchen equipment, but we quickly got the hang of minimalistic cooking, which was not only fun but it saved precious time to enjoy our holiday! We saw shooting stars from the shower and northern lights from the toasty coziness of the bed. Definitely recommended for those who seek a simple, cosy, quiet getaway.

We had the most amazing stay in Iceland. The cabin was stunning and we saw the Northern lights 3 times just in the back garden. It’s a great location to drive to multiple tourist attractions, enjoy peace and quiet and see the beautiful aurora. We were so happy with our stay! Really responsive hosts as well.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin. It is simple but has everything you need. The view from the windows is very nice. The host are very friendly.

Annas place was fantastic. Set on a working horse farm and on route to some great attractions. Secret lagoon, geysirs, Gullfoss waterfall. The cabin was lovely and cosy and the beds were really comfortable. The living area was spacious and had a lovely verranda. We saw an amazing display of Northern lights every night of our stay. And the lovely dog was a bonus to have around! The host was super helpful and answered all my questions promptly. I thoroughly recommend this lovely cabin. .
