Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Vermilion Parish

Amazing space, perfect for a family. Best stocked kitchen, perfect for a true cook. Hosts were responsive and proactive with checking on us. Everything was clean and comfortable. The outside area and crawfish boil area is so cool. 10/10 recommend.

The house was very clean, the kitchen was adequately furnished and was a perfect fit for our family and my sister-in-law’s family (4 adults, 4 kids and a baby). They were very responsive and proactive. The location was peaceful and we enjoyed watching the boats drive by on the river. It was easy to get into Lafayette to the Acadiana trailhead and the Cajundome for a concert. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at the Cajun Cottage! Cindy and Bill were exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially loved spending time by the pool—it was the perfect place to relax after exploring the area. Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and we truly appreciated all the care they put into making our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommend this gem of a spot!

Ruby was very friendly and we engaged in lots of conversation during breakfast. She tailored breakfast to meet my requirements and prepared delicious scrambled eggs fresh from the chickens out back! Beautiful place, nice conversations and a comfortable bed! Thanks Ruby!

Nicole was very responsive and checked in on us via message during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. It was easy to get in and out, the tiny house was adorable, and it was so sweet being able to pet the baby goats on the property! Nicole’s place was a quick drive to Lafayette while being peacefully located in the nearby countryside. We had a great stay, highly recommend.

My family and I stayed at Nonnie’s place Easter weekend while we visited family nearby. Her place was clean and as described. Honestly the living room was a bit bigger than I expected which was a good thing. I was concerned after I read the review mentioning bed bugs, and when I reached out to Nonnie, she explained to me that she never had bed bugs, and that she had an exterminator report to prove it. She provided a copy of that report to help ease my worries, and after staying there, I can say that Nonnie’s place was in pristine shape, and my family had zero experiences with bed bugs or any other bugs for that matter. We will definitely rebook with Nonnie the next time we visit the area.

Great stay with a great price! We enjoyed the chickens and roosters running around the property. The home is sitting on a large piece of land so you don’t have to worry about your things getting broken into, if you’re there for work. Tip: make sure the front door screen is closed completely and keep the porch light off at night. That will help avoid bugs. Comfortable and secure place to rest. A/c also works really well and if you’re cold, there’s an electric fireplace that blows heat. Highly recommend.

I loved everything about this place!! This loft was the BEST!! It was very clean and spotless, the loft even smelled clean, the artwork was absolutely fantastic and enjoyable to look at, the backyard felt like a botanical garden, the plants were amazing, and the beds were extremely comfortable!! 20/10 recommend!!
