Commiezenhuis

This Commies house (customs office/former BORDER/ TAX CONTROL Office ) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30min.) are also easily accessible. Public transport bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

Ideal location to discover all of Holland. This wonng is centrally located in the center of Beverwijk within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, bus and train. Recently renewed with new kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Ideal for multiple people in the house. Equipped with three bedrooms and 1 sofa bed in the spacious living room. With nice weather, you can relax in the backyard on the lovely lounge. In the street there is free parking for 1 hour and then paid but a 7-minute walk away is free parking.

Midden in de duinen van natuurpark Zuid-Kennemerland op 300m van het strand ligt dit ruime vakantiehuis met vrij uitzicht op zee. Warm jezelf op bij de houtkachel na een lange strandwandeling of geniet vanaf het terras aan de voorzijde van de ondergaande zon. Vanaf het balkon bij de slaapkamer zie je 's ochtends de zon opkomen boven het duinlandschap, waar ook vaak herten te zien zijn. Het huis is ruim, heeft 2.5 woonlagen en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een gedeeld zwembad + sauna.

Historische woning 1902 "cozy house 1902"

Historical house with a great living room, dinning room and kitchen. There are 2 sleeping rooms with in total 5 beds. The neighbourhous is quit and its only a few stepts from the naional park "de kennemerduinen" 10 minutes by train to Haarlem and 30 minutes by train to the city of Amsterdam were you can have dinner or to go out. Parking for free in the street. Alleready got more then 130 enthousiastic guests in my house, they all want to come back. Alle basic shops arround the corner. SUPER!!!

Spacious family home next to Amsterdam and beach

Enjoy our house, perfect for couples or families with (young) children, uniquely situated near forest, beach, and city. Bustling cities of Haarlem (13km) and Amsterdam (36km) are also easily accessible by car or public transport. The house has three large bedrooms, one with a playground. The large bedroom in the ridge of the house is an oasis of calm for the parents. In the garden, you can relax under the canopy with a fireplace, cook on the Green Egg, and shower in between the plants.

Atmospheric house, near national park (Kennemerduinen) and within cycling distance of beach. Haarlem and Amsterdam are easily accessible. Spacious living room with open kitchen, wood stove and French doors across the entire width to sunny garden with BBQ. First floor: two bedrooms with double bed, separate bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. On the third floor, there is a very spacious bedroom with its own bathroom and toilet. This room is only available for 5/6 person booking.

Seaside Palace

Relax with the whole family at these wonderful accommodations. Fully equipped such as air conditioning, shutters , camping bed and a roof terrace. The beach is just around the corner and Haarlem and Alkmaar are a 20-minute drive away. Direct bus connection to Haarlem city center/station is a 2-minute walk away. From the station you can reach the city center of Amsterdam in less than half an hour. The circuit of Zandvoort is 30 minutes away by bike through the beautiful dunes.

This comfortable, attractively furnished house is located at the foot of the dunes in a quiet neighborhood. Ruimte tuin, met speeltoestel. 2 tweepersoonsslaapkamer, 2 badkamers, 1 met bad, peuterkamer en kinderkamer met 1 of 2 persoons bed. Wel 2 poezen die eten nodig hebben (geen kattenbak).

The Oude Bakery on the Kleine Sluis

Welcome to our Bed and Breakfast, located in a characteristic municipal monument from 1877 – the first bakery in IJmuiden. Here you literally sleep on historic ground, in the heart of the old shop where bread was once sold to the canal diggers of the North Sea Canal. Our benb is located in the retail space of this former bakery. The beautiful space has, among other things, a luxury bathroom with sauna and its own entrance.
