House vacation rentals in Västra Motala

We had a wonderful vacation in Sweden! The house exceeded all our expectations. Communication with Jesper was possible at all times and he was always friendly and helpful! We highly recommend this place and send a huge thank you to Jesper and his family in Sweden!

We had a really nice family vacation, the two kids (both seven years old) stayed in the little cottage and loved playing in the huge garden around the house. We took care of the chickens and the cat, who is always looking for the way into the house from the neighboring grandmother and otherwise we had exactly the peace and nature that we wanted.

Kenn was super quick to respond when we had questions and very nice and helpful from booking to departure. Very good and nicely decorated house where there was plenty of room for many people to sit and eat. In addition, Christmas decorated and cozy like this at Christmas time.

Very lovely spacious space. Great amenities! Cosy movie space, very bright and enjoyable living room. The beds we're very comfortable. Huge fridge with modern kitchen. Couldn't ask for a better place to use during a trip to Linkoping.

We had a nice evening at Anna-Karin's house. It was clean and nice and had a nice location with lake view and pool. The area was quiet and Anna-Karin was quick to help us if we had questions. Recommends this accommodation :)

The house was very nice in a quiet residential area. Close to the lake. Fully furnished. There was nothing missing. Very well-maintained outdoor area. Everything very clean. 100% recommendation.

Malin's place was super nice and suited our two families perfectly as a base for bike excursions to Vadstena and along Göta Kanal. The pool was of course one of the highlights of the warm and sunny days we got, and the view of the expansive landscape was hard to beat.

We had a lovely time staying at Henrik's great house. He was a very eager host and was always available at short notice if there was a question. Great! The children felt very comfortable and were able to have plenty of adventures. The area is great, you can quickly get to the lake and there is a lot to see. A very successful vacation for us.

Jenny’s home in Forsvik was the perfect retreat — peaceful, charming, and surrounded by stunning nature. The house itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell Jenny puts a lot of care into the space, and it really made us feel at home. One of the highlights was how close it was to Kafé & Mat — we absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was friendly, and it made our stay feel even more special to have such a great spot just steps away. The location is ideal for enjoying Sweden’s natural beauty — with lakes, walking trails, and historic sites all nearby. We especially appreciated the quiet mornings and the calm atmosphere that made it so easy to relax and recharge. Jenny was a kind and attentive host, quick to respond and genuinely welcoming. We’re so grateful for the experience and would happily come back again. Tack Jenny for a lovely stay!

A beautiful and large house with complete furnishings and a large terrace. The house has many large windows with views over the vast lake and the other houses in the small-scale holiday park. Contact with the owner went well and quickly. We enjoyed the silence, tranquility and the singing birds. We took nice walks in the area. Supermarkets and shops are easily accessible 15km away. We would love to come back here if we go back to Sweden.

We spent a cozy Christmas week in Magnus house. The house was incredibly cozy and homely and Magnus was easy to contact for questions. The location and area were close to nature and quiet and suited us perfectly as we had our dog and wanted to go for long walks in the forest.

We had a great weekend in Vadstena in Annika's beautiful little farmhouse. Got such great help well before check-in and felt very well taken care of. Everything went very smoothly and easily, we had everything we needed and with the farmhouse as a base it became a really wonderful stay in beautiful Vadstena.

Amazing stay in the middle of beautiful farm land! Even though the building is quite old, it's super warm and cozy inside! Quite spacious apartment and peaceful locality. For travellers from Gothenburg to Stockholm, this is a perfect stay point after visiting Visingsö island and Vadstena palace. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

Me and a colleague stayed with Fredrik during a job in Karlsborg. The house was cozy and had what we needed. Comfortable beds and a quiet area so we slept well. Fredrik was very kind and helpful throughout the stay. Recommend!

Cozy house on a farm where you could watch animals, large areas outside for the kids to play on. Close to Omberg and Tåkern. Nice host, we got eggs from her hens and best of all cleaning and sheets are included in the rent.

The second time we stayed in Anja's cottage, a very soothing place. Simple and very cozy accommodation that suits us perfectly. Lovely to have breakfast next to Tidan.

Unfortunately, we were only there for one night in transit, but we felt comfortable. There was everything you needed.

We had a great weekend at Karin's nice house. We hiked on Omberg and also south in the nice nature reserve along the golf course. Recommend the accommodation!

Each morning before breakfast we walked across the sunny lawn and the forest to the sandy beach of lake Viken, where we had our first swim of the day. The rest of the days we enjoyed the sunshine on the large terrace or went hiking or cycling. The house was very comfortable due to the windows on all sides, the view and the complete facilities of good quality. It merely felt as an house for permanent living rather than a holiday home. Ulrika is a very nice host: well communicating, quickly responding, friendly and flexible.

The apartment is very spacious and cozy and offers plenty of space, also as far as the outdoor area is concerned. Lake (Sommen) access is very close within walking distance. At the private dock you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended.

We had a very nice and relaxing time. The place is fantastically beautiful. You can enjoy it in any weather, as it is also super cozy inside. The highlight is the fantastic view of the lake, the nature right in front of us, the private jetty and the seclusion. You can swim, go boating, make campfires or just laze around. During our stay, there was an issue with the toilet. Lars and Katarina took care of it immediately and even offered us an alternative place to stay. The two are very friendly and helpful. We will be happy to come back.
