Brilliant long weekend stay. Beautiful cabin right on the water, we made use of the kayaks daily! Amanda was a responsive and friendly host, we would definitely recommend this stunning place.

Overall excellent, super nice! Incredible view. Very clean. Very remote. Only but would be the sauna which did not go below 50 degrees :)

We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!

This place is a little gem of tranquility on a beautiful island. It made for a great family adventure with our three kids. Kayak tours, rides on the private boat to the main islands to shops and restaurants which is also great for a bike ride with kids. We Very much enjoyed the sauna with view on the ocean too !

We had an amazing stay at this property! The view was absolutely magical and made the experience even better. Despite the fact that it was late in the fall, everything was very orderly. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a memorable stay!

A very nice house. We took it very clean and ordered the final cleaning separately, which is highly recommended for the sizes of the house. The contact with Fredrika was exclusively online, always very nice. We were 4 adults and 3 children, but the 5 rooms with sleeping facilities were great. At least the two bigger beds were a little too soft for us, but that's a habit. Complete decor of the house, we didn't lack anything. Outside a nice little pool and a gas grill. It's only a 10-minute walk to the well-attended beach in the village, as well as to the bus stop. From there you can reach the center of Stockholm in 25 minutes. A shopping mall is close by too. We had a great stay and highly recommend the house.

We had an amazing stay in family Rova‘s house. The design-villa is furnished and equipped on an absolute premium level. House and garden have a lot of privacy and stunning views. Pool, swing and trampoline were the highlights for the kids, as well as gym, outdoor kitchens and rooftop hot tub for me. The location lacks nothing. Beautiful nature, beaches, activities as well as restaurants, shops and marinas. Last but not least, family Rova did an excellent job as our hosts, so we felt at home in a second.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so cozy. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough and would love to come back again!

Anna was unbelievably helpful and went above and beyond with communication and assistance towards our needs for our stay. The place is a little quiet heaven. The place is very well cleaned, some stains can be noted from time / moisture ie. blinds but it otherwise feels spotless. Very welcoming, has many many kitchen utilities / amenities. I would highly recommend.

We stayed at Sanna's beautiful house for a week. The house has plenty of space and everything you need was there. The pool with wonderful views was a highlight. Sanna was quickly available for questions and always kind.

This is the best country house we have rented in Sweden. It is a bit pricy but totally worth it. The location is amazing with beautiful views on the porch and from the upstairs balcony, booth overlooking the lake/sea. The description of the house is really accurate and the kitchen is very well equipped. Mats was a wonderful host, very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic. Extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Apartment already expensive, but worth the price - the view of the water is unbeatable and Vaxholm is very well located for activities in Stockholm and the archipelago. Now in March few ships are sailing, but the bus connections are excellent.

The house is a real pearl in Stockholm archipelago, beautifully decorated which allows guests to understand the true living in this unique nature setting. The house is well equipped, with a spacious patio/deck for breakfast, lunch or dinner with brand new deck furniture. The house built in 1912, offers spectacular views from each room and is located next to a 1500 year old viking chiefs' grave shaped like a boat which gives a unique tie to the Scandinavian history. We experienced beautiful waterfront sunsets dining at the the dock house which offers charming overnight accommodations and has all the kitchen, dining/bbq equipment so guests can enjoy the dining at waterfront without running up to the main house. The sauna house is easy to use and guests can cool off stepping into the sea. For local excursions, the house is about 50 minutes drive to Stockholm old town. We thank the host Fredrik and his wife for a fantastic vacation in this spectacular Swedish nature reserve.

Thank you Mimmie for a wonderful stay. We spent a week in the house with 5 adults and 4 children, ranging from 9m to 11 years. It was so easy to get there by car, and by bus from slussen. Instructions for check in were clear, and easy. The area was fantastic- walkable restaurants, naturespots and swim spots, with others a short busride/drive away. We especially liked the nearby swim spots. The garden was peaceful, with a stunning view, the house beautiful and well equipped. Mimmie was responsive on messaging and very helpful. Pierre's house is truly a “gem in the Stockholm archipelago”. The house is large, very nicely cut and has the "certain something". The highlight is the very nicely made sauna overlooking the water. It can also be illuminated nicely at night. Paddle boat and stand up paddle complete it all. There is another house on the property, which is also rented out. Sometimes very nice people and we got along well. We had a fantastic week and would love to come again anytime. Communication with Pierre was also very pleasant and we got valuable tips.

Johan's house was very spacious and comfortable for all 3 couples. We loved sitting on the decks and dock with lovely water views and beautiful boats coming and going from the nearby marina. The location was great for walking around the neighborhood and to the beach. It was ideal for exploring the archipelago by ferry out of Vaxholm and only a 35-40 minute drive to Stockholm.

We had an amazing few nights at Annelis beautiful home - the house is extremely comfortable and welcoming and Anneli is very accommodating and helpful when communicating with - the views are incredible and we immediately felt very relaxed and at home when we arrived - couldn’t recommend more ! Thanks so much for having us !
