Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft von Katerina. Der Check in war sehr flexibel und sogar schon vor 15 Uhr möglich. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben, das Highlight ist natürlich der Whirlpool. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke nochmals für die selbst zubereiteten Speisen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, die genau wie auf den Fotos aussieht. Besonders gut hat uns die Ausstattung der Wohnung gefallen, in der Küche ist alles von Pfannen, Töpfen bis hin zu Toaster oder Sandwich-Maker vorhanden, zudem ist auf dem Balkon eine Kisten mit sämtlichen Utensilien für den Strand (Schirm, Liege, Kühlbox bis hin zu Taucherbrillen). Die Kommunikation mit Alexandros war auch jederzeit möglich und er hat direkt bei Fragen geantwortet. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche auf Kreta und würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful little location hidden away down a narrow road into the mountains. Peaceful and quiet House very clean, nice mountain views from the pool Very friendly host The closest town is Elos, where you can find the local restaurants and mini markets. There is a helpful guide on the table when you enter, with local food/shop recommendations. We went to the restaurants recommended and got a 10% discount too because we mentioned where we were living. Ofcourse, Elafonisi beach is where you must visit , only 20-25 min drive down mountains roads. You have to drive carefully.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement ! L’appartement est spacieux, décoré avec goût et très bien entretenu. Tout était parfaitement propre à notre arrivée. La literie est confortable, la cuisine est entièrement équipée (vaisselle, cafetière, four, etc.), et il y a même des petites attentions comme du café et quelques produits de base, ce qui est très appréciable. Le quartier est calme et agréable, tout en étant proche des commerces, des restaurants et des plages. L’hôte a été exceptionnel : très réactif, disponible pour répondre à nos questions, et chaleureux dans sa communication. On sent qu’il tient vraiment à ce que ses voyageurs passent un bon moment. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter et reviendrons avec plaisir si l’occasion se présente !

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in der Unterkunft von Eleni. Es war wirklich ein Traum! Alles ist genauso wie auf den Bildern, sogar noch schöner! Die Lage ist Top, mit super Restaurant, schönen Stränden und die Altstadt von Chania ist schnell zu erreichen. Ich würde auf Kreta immer ein Auto empfehlen um alles zu erkunden. Eleni ist eine super Gastgeberin, die einem bei allem unterstützt und sehr zuvorkommend ist. Jeder Cent war es wert, und mein Freund und ich würden immer wieder gerne hier hinkommen. Danke für alles!

A gorgeous boho chic, well designed apartment. The host and her husband were so very welcoming and gave great advice, some of the restaurants she recommended were really good and we visited a few gorgeous beaches on their recommendation too. Everything you need in a holiday home! We had a car to explore but you could walk to lots of good local restaurants or hop on the bus. The hosts own restaurants was very good too. The outside areas and pool was really nice. We never had a bad meal and would definitely return to beautiful Crete and her very chic comfortable apartment ☺️☀️

Wow! Where to begin with this review - this was probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had overall, and we have stayed in a lot of airbnbs! Manos and Klelia made sure we had a fantastic experience in Chania , they are so friendly and very helpful with any questions we had, super responsive and they really went above and beyond; to the extent that when we arrived they gave us a home baked banana bread loaf and fresh home baked pastries from their shop!! As for the apartment, we stayed for one month and it was a home away from home. It is in a great location, 10 minute walk from a lovely beach and great restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed and even had a little home gym outside which we used daily, it has a sheltered parking spot and a little private patio. 100/10!! Thank you Manos and Klelia for an unforgettable trip.

Great place directly opposite the beach - fantastic if you have toddlers like us. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door every day because the kids could play out there while we ate. If you want to visit the most beautiful beaches on Crete, this west coast location is great (though it should be noted that the beach near the house is actually facing north, which means it is thankfully not frequented by tourists). The host is very friendly and willing to help with any issues. The airbnb was very well equipped and prepared for our visit (including items we would not ordinarily expect like fruit, cake, and even a dinner on the first night - though we obviously knew about it based on previous reviews). We would come back here in a heartbeat!

Where do I start!!? We had such an amazing week at Dimitra’s place. The house has absolutely everything you would need - from the ample outdoor spaces for relaxing and dining, to the cold plunge pool to refresh yourself in the afternoon heat, to the cozy wood fireplace for cooler evenings. The location is fantastic, with easy driving access to Falassarna Beach, Kissamos, Balos Beach and Elafonissi Beach, and walking distance through charming Greek countryside and villages to a few spectacular restaurants and a cafe. Dimitra also went above and beyond to accommodate us, and make us feel welcome, leaving some toys out for young daughter which she absolutely loved! Highly recommend this place, you will love your vacation.

Anastasia was a lovely host and was very helpful throughout our trip! We came in the middle of a sandstorm, and she even had the pool cleaned for us after the storm. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay in Chania!

We had a wonderful, peaceful & relaxing week in this beautiful house. Amazing location, stylish, spacious, comfortable & very well-equipped. It’s 3 minutes from the small town of Sellia (3 or 4 nice traditional restaurants & small but useful supermarket), 10 minutes from the bigger (seaside town) of Plakias (many restaurants, 2 big supermarkets, butcher & baker), yet out on its own: utterly quiet & private and with beautiful, uninterrupted views of the sea. Cordula - who created this fabulous place, from ground up & with incredible attention to detail, is a perfect host. She couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful: at all stages proactive, quick & very clear communication and always concerned about our convenience & comfort. Our flight time meant we didn’t arrive until 8pm & Cordula offered to order & collect food from one of the excellent local restaurants & keep it warm in the oven, so after a long & tiring journey our holiday started straightaway. We would love to return.

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect. We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and private villa with a truly spectacular ocean view. The perfect setup for our extended family (6 adults and 2 small children), offering plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The bedrooms were comfortable with en suite bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook at home. The kids especially loved the pool and all the toys available. We enjoyed local meals at Maxis Yard (a charming spot in the nearby village with pottery and homemade food) and Fisalida, which has a stunning ocean view. Both within walking distance. Grocery shopping was easy with both Lidl and the village shops close by. Our host went above and beyond—meeting us for check-in during Easter holiday and even doing grocery shopping for us beforehand as everything was closed. He surprised us with homemade dinner of delicious moussaka and Greek salad, which made us feel so welcomed. We left feeling relaxed and very tempted to return one day.

Encore un grand merci à Giorgos et Maria pour leur accueil. Une très grosse tempête de sable du Sahara a tout perturbé le jour de notre arrivée. Nos hôtes ont fait le maximum et même l’impossible pour tout nettoyer et nous permettre de profiter de la villa dans les meilleures conditions. La villa est magnifique. Tout est prévu pour que nous puissions nous détendre et profiter au maximum. Pleins de belles intentions, des produits à disposition permettent de ressentir le confort dès notre arrivée. Je ne peux que conseiller la villa Mythic Olive 😊

Loved our stay at Elies Place. It’s in a great location for the beach but far enough not to have disturbance from the busy promenade. Silver was a brilliant help, nothing was too much and she really made our stay better. The apartment had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It is a minute away from a bakery and two minutes from a supermarket. The local people were so friendly and spoke to us every morning. The old town is an easy 15-20 minute stroll where there are better restaurants but significantly more expensive. The beach and facilities are great also. Would recommend staying at Elies Place if you’re looking for value for money and great location.

jAne's House is in a remote private location with a beautiful garden and stunning views. The house is comfortable, very well equipped and Stella provides lots of extras including home made goodies. We stayed for two weeks and mid stay Stella treated us to her home made Gemista, which was the best we've ever had! Kolimbari is a 15 - 20 minutes drive away and has a good choice of supermarkets. There are just two Tavernas within walking distance but as we were there the first week of May only one of them was open in the evening, however this did not bother us and we enjoyed our meals sat on the terrace watching the beautiful sunsets. Thank you Stella, we hope to return next year!

I had a wonderful visit at Michalis's apartment. The location was perfect for walking on the beach, and about a 15/20 minute walk to old town. The inside of the apartment was beautiful; it had everything you need for a longer stay and the views of the balconies were breathtaking! I would definitely stay there again.

We decided to spend four nights at this beautiful property in a very rural part of Crete. We based ourselves here because of the location as it was close enough to Balos Lagoon, Elafonissi and Falasarna Beaches. The property is close to some very well regarded Cretan Tavernas so there is choice for food locally. Our hosts greeted us and provided us with some lovely pastries, fresh fruit, and items in the fridge which was much appreciated by us and our young family. The hosts were responsive and even gave us a parting gift which was unexpected but welcomed. We cannot recommend this Airbnb enough.

Really enjoyed the comfortable stay here. Host gave us a very warm welcome although we arrived past midnight. We were greeted with some local treats and he always helped with good recommendations on places to visit, activities and restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here, although it is not exactly in the city centre, it’s very peaceful and only few minutes drive by car. The apartment is newly refurbished with nice interior and facilities. The kind hospitality we experienced is definitely a highlight of our crete trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Yannis Olive Grove. The apartment offered everything we needed and gave us a calm pause from our usual city life. It was easy to find it with a few signs leading the way. Yannis is a very friendly host. He gave us nice suggestions for taverns and local food close by and insights into olive harvesting. We would highly recommend the getaway if you’re looking for a place outside the more touristic areas of Crete. We enjoyed the quiet location in the hills.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped.Beautifully finished modern apartment. Gina was always very quick to respond. Convenient for exploring this part of Crete.

Great location and easy to find. Communication was great. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but that’s just part of staying in the old town. Walking distance to everything you’ll want to see in Chania!
