The Stone House in Aspro (North Side)

The Northern Stone House is a fully-equipped traditional cottage with a large outdoor yard, in the village of Aspro, Chania. It was built in the late 1800s and renovated in 2020 by myself and my father. Our goal was to create a space that is simple, serene and evocative of older times, yet is completely functional in the modern sense. It's located 2km away from the area's main village Almyrida, where you can find some basic stores, restaurants, as well as a couple of beautiful beaches.

From the studio and its spacious private terrace you have a panoramic view of the green valley of Apokoronas, the bay of Souda, the Akrotiri peninsula and the white mountains ‘Lefka Ori’, with snowy white peaks in spring. The villa and the 4 studios are located on the property ‘The 5 Seasons’, 4000 m2 of landscaped garden. The garden and large swimming pool are shared.

The accommodation is just 25 km away from the beautiful town of Chania, 35 km from Rethymno and 110 km from Heraklion. The sandy beaches of Almirida, Kalyves and Georgioupolis are within a distance of 8 km, 6 km and 12 km respectively.
