Magnificent site with views of the river. Great place for children to play with pool and secure play area. House accommodation is homely with comfortable beds. Very secure and accessible local amenities.

The Casa de Medas offers everything your heart desires. A fantastic accommodation in a quiet location, where you can enjoy your stay and the surroundings completely undisturbed. The terrace with whirlpool is wonderful and the decor of the house is also very tasteful. We were very pleased with the fresh vegetables and fruits as a welcome gift. As a destination, you can either walk to Porto or the Douro or enjoy the river beach

Clara’s is superhost so helpful and responsive . She waited for us to checkin and welcome us with freshly made fruit cake and some Port wine 🍷. I recommend to stay and I love the top floor patio over looking to Douro river and St Don Luis bridge enjoying the sunset.

The best House I’ve ever stayed at

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

When we arrived at the apartment, a woman was sitting in front of it, it was the neighbor across the street. We thought she belonged to our apartment and she welcomed us, she could only speak Portuguese and unfortunately we couldn't, but it was a nice moment and a great arrival despite everything.

Everything was excellent, nothing to complain about.

A lovely haven away from the hustle and bustle of old town activity, but close enough to walk to most places - which we did. Also, Metro nearby, good restaurants & food shopping nearby. The steps (10-ish) were manageable even for us as active seniors. Well equipped- tho we didn’t really cook much! Good bed, good shower. We always felt secure despite how busy the city is. No road noise at night. Unusually heavy, driving rain with strong Nth East wind one night caused minor flooding around edge of bedroom & living room, but hosts very promptly and efficiently responded to help dry things out. My husband and I enjoyed a marvelous stay at Art Douro! Great location, stylish decor and efficient kitchen. While it was a bit of a trek to the vibrant area of Nova de Gaia and city of Porto, it was a pleasant walk along the river. We prepared several meals in the kitchen and loved the view while dining from the table in the living room. Evening drinks on the balcony were lovely as we viewed the moon and the lights of Porto glistening on the river. Thank you for the easy check in, prompt communication, and comfortable accommodation!

This is my second time staying at tbis apartment because it is the perfect spot in Porto. Set back from the busy downtown area it is a perfect mix of peace but close to everything. The balcony is heaven and I could sit out there with a glass of Port forever. We will absolutely be back.

This really is an outstanding property, worthy of its 5☆ status. The owners are very welcoming, with lots of local recommendations. The quality of the furnishings, bedding, towels etc go beyond 5 star, and the view from the balcony is amazing, we didn't want to leave. A wonderful stay, in a wonderful city, with amazing hosts, who really go out of their way, to make your stay special. Obrigada.

I loved being across from the park- pretty to walk through as I headed to the historic areas each day. The patio was incredible to enjoy a coffee / read a book. The welcome port & water & coffee was very nice, and a booklet with suggested places to walk/ things to see was really helpful. The toilet is down a few stairs from the sleeping area (wasn’t a problem at all). It was fun to feel like a local. Also fun: The Camino de Santiago Portuguese route goes through the park across the street (which was exciting for me because I had just hiked further north).

We had an incredible stay at Almada! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt like a peaceful oasis right in the heart of Porto. The private backyard was a lovely bonus, and everything from check-in to communication with the host Laurent was seamless. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the city!

We had an amazing time staying here. Once you walk out, you are immersed in the life of the city, right in the middle of all of the action, but when you walk into the house, it is as if you’re taken away from the hustle and bustle and are in your own private world. We would 100% recommend staying here.

One of the best Airbnbs I have had the chance to stay in. The views are amazing. The apartment itself is cozy and well-equipped, but it's the panoramic sights over the city and river that truly set it apart. A perfect spot for any length stay in Porto.

This place was super clean. kitchen well organized. Location was superb...close to the Se Cathedral and also the bridge. there are 4 bedrooms which is very hard to find. There was no street noise and the Views were great from the balcony and host was kind enough to provide complimentary port wine and cookies.

Juliana's flat is clean and pleasant, and possesses the amenities for a comfortable stay. It's within walking distance to Porto landmarks such as the Luis I Bridge, Port Wine cellars, Porto Sao Bento, Lello Bookshop, etc. As my flight into Porto was early, I was relieved when Juliana wasn't stringent about the time.

Nothing bad to say about this place besides maybe a bit of noise being close to street, but that was expected. Was clean, well equipped and a great experience. Tons of stuff around there, and close to many good places to eat. Would gladly stay there again.

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

Pro's: - The view is phenomenal!! - The location is convenient and central (bus and metro stops nearby) - Large bedroom (also a beautiful view!) -Genug Platz - in the kitchen, everything you need is there (a second pot would be nice) -All was clean - There is an elevator (apartment is on the 7th floor) Cons: - The ventilation in the bathroom turns on automatically in the afternoon and does not turn off again until the next morning. It is very loud and looks dirty, and it also gives off an unpleasant smell when it runs. You should always have the bathroom door open for ventilation. No dishwasher - Large and noisy construction site around the corner Overall, I had a great stay and felt comfortable!

Fantastic spot with views of the water. Very airy, beautiful flat in Mira Gaia and walking distance to the Dom Luis bridge, Clerigos area and Sao Bento train station. (Just be ready for the hills! There is a set of escalators down the river, though not all seem to work all at one time for whatever reason.) Just a few minutes from multiple bus stops and a local market. Quiet area since it is on a dead end street and comfortable beds with all the needed amenities. Highly recommended!

The apartment is very beautiful and in a great central area. We went everywhere by foot. The communication with Daniel was perfect, he is very nice and responded quickly. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Nice building in center of town with a parking garage. The apartmet is on the 3rd floor and there is a lift.
