Cabin vacation rentals in Valle del Baztan

Amazing place in the forest, easy to get to with car since the roads are asphalted apart from the last few hundred meters to the cottage where it's gravel. We loved the view and peace and quiet, despite being in nature everything was clean and well kept. Few bugs (we went in April, might be worse in summer months). The fireplace makes everything so cozy and coffee is provided for you. We also loved the water filter for drinkable water, since the one from the taps smell pretty strongly. The kitchen is large and super well equipped with spices and cooking utensils. Definitely would return!

Beautiful cabin in the woods with all the essentials for a great stay! Chloé and Alban are adorable, very welcoming, they give good tips for visits that can be made in the area! I recommend this place to reconnect with your teens because for us, it allowed us to enjoy a nice family evening, with a lot of laughter around board games, it's very nice to let go of the cell phone and enjoy good times with family! Our hosts' directions for finding the address were very simple and therefore very easy to find! Thanks to Chloé and Alban for introducing us to their pretty cabins!

Very pleasant setting with beautiful views of the forest. The accommodation is small but well arranged for 2 adults and 2 children is fine! Just so you know, there is no condiment (salt, oil, sugar...) but supermarket not far away that helps well!

Very warm welcome, Jérôme is very attentive, the place is magical, the cabins are beautiful, the Nordic bath (even in the rain) is an extraordinary experience, the breakfast is delicious and hearty, very good products. ☺️ a peaceful oasis between the river and the forest, we didn't want to leave. we'll go back without hesitating for a second. and another small plus for their dog, a great nanny for our puppy 😅 thanks again!

My family and I stayed at Phil’s place for 30 days and had an incredible time! Phil was very friendly and there to meet us upon check-in. He went out of his way to recommend restaurants and places to visit in the surrounding area. The house is beautiful, the yard is lovely and the kitchen is amazingly well appointed. The location is only steps away from beautiful biking trails and less than a 10 minute drive from several beautiful beaches. We felt right at home…10/10 would recommend!

Our stay at the cabin was magical. It is located in the middle of the forest and you can hear the birds singing all day. We were greeted by Greg, the owner and chef of the cabin, who was always attentive to us, recommending the best places and activities to do during our stay. In addition to warming up the Nordic bath so we could enjoy a hot bath every time we came back. The place is beautiful and perfect to connect with nature, the cabin is divine and you can tell that they put love into each of the details and the preparation of each of the meals they prepared for us. But the nicest thing about the experience was meeting Greg and his family, Amelie and Roman, who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. An unforgettable experience. We'd love to come back!

We found this location to be pretty much as described in Airbnb. It is a nice old stone building in excellent shape that has been modified inside with new appliances, new bath, etc. Everything worked well, although the electric heater could barely keep up with a couple of cold nights. Our host, Maria, was extremely pleasant and helpful. The little building is adjacent to a larger stone building which Maria also owns, with most space there for her family. It is an excellent place to relax. The overall property has sheep, miniature horses, etc. The roads in the area are in excellent condition, with many twists and turns, but excellent signage. Remember that in Basque Country, road signs often are only in the Basque language and not in Spanish. It is in a very quiet, remote location, and to get to a market, it’s a 20-minute ride to the nearest town, where you have to park at the edge of town and then walk in from the parking lot. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
