House vacation rentals in Valambray

Brigitte's home is lovely. We are a family of 10, 6 adults and 4 teenagers celebrating a special birthday and anniversary. The house was perfect for us. The location was peaceful with open views of fields from the garden. The pool was amazing, we all enjoyed fun times in there. The Sauna was very much appreciated after the activities in the pool. We also enjoyed the Football and Table Tennis and the bikes. We biked to Merville where there are a few shops including a bakery. We also enjoyed a bike ride to Pegagus Bridge and The Battery at Merville. The house is perfectly located for D Day beaches and other historical sites. The kitchen was very well equipped and loved cooking on the BBQ. It was lovely meeting Verione who was waiting to greet us at the house. We all had a fantastic holiday. Thank you. Anne

This was my second stay at this chalet, and I really appreciate its simplicity and secure location. It's well-arranged and very comfortable for a solo traveller or a couple. Will likely visit again!

We stayed for a week at Benedicte's. The house, neighborhood and locations are perfect for staying a few days in Trouville and walking around. Beaches, restaurants, shops and train station if necessary are nearby. The house is impeccable, very well-equipped and very pleasant. Bénédicte is a charming and very welcoming hostess. We came with our cocker spaniel and the garden is totally enclosed and secure. We would recommend it in a second.

What a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. It was great sitting outside in the morning having a coffee listening to the birds singing and the church bells ringing. It was also nice to have access to the gardens with a swimming pool, tennis court and table tennis. We were holidaying to visit the various D-Day beaches and museums which were all within a short drive. The property is well appointed with everything you could need. Arnaud & Jessica were friendly and helpful and would respond to any questions within minutes.

Fantastic modern home , spotless clean. Close to the beach really taken with Carboug. We used this location to tour some of the battlefields ( Merville battery is just up the road).

Very nice property for a great stay with family. Very good bedding and very good amenities and nice layout of the house. The pool at 28° was really a plus. This place is really to be recommended and Delphine always very responsive. This place is halfway between the city and the harbor and anything can be done on foot. Finally, nothing to say about our long weekend, than happiness. A big thank you to Delphine.

With my family, we have spent 4 days in Julie and Sebastien’s place. It is stunning and we loved it! The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, and there is a supermarket that is only 5min walk away, so it is super practical. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. In addition to the swimming pool and the terrace, it has plenty of outdoor games (ping pong, football, pétanque…), so it is adapted for a family or for a group of friends (up to 9 persons I think). Julie and Sebastien are lovely hosts, and they came to welcome us and to greet us when leaving (knowing that you can do self check-in and check-out), so we appreciated!

Everything is perfect during the stay ! Thank you for flexibility, I recommend this place :)

an unusual and charming little house close to amenities yet with lots of privacy. the decor is outstanding and the main bedroom is exceptionally good. super wide and comfotable bed with bedside controls of lighting, a big plus for us readers in bed. lots of cooking things. great boulangerie almost withing sniffing distance, how wicked is that !

My and family and I celebrated an 80th birthday. This place was an excellent find and just a stone’s throw from the ferry from Portsmouth. The place has lots of space and makes use of the large open planned lounge dining area with some great furniture which meant that there was plenty of room to all sit and have fun games together. The garden was excellent and safe for smaller children to run around in. Ouistreham is a lovely town to leisurely spend an afternoon walking along the beachfront and there are lots of great cafés and restaurants. Elizabeth and Christophe were super accommodating to our needs and were very warm and friendly. We will love to visit again. Thanks so much for a special weekend.

We had a great time. A very clean and very functional chalet. The location of the chalet is very safe and very quiet. The little extra of access to the swimming pool is very appreciated by the children. Very warm welcome.

Sylvain's house is a gem, nothing is missing and a few meters from the beach and shopping street. Clean house, the terrace is a real asset for large tables for meals. sylvain did a very nice renovation of the house. The living room is large and cozy. We were hosted very well by Aurélie. We thank Sylvain for the packed basket and for the arrival and departure times. We highly recommend this rental because it feels like home.

Nice location at 1 minute walk from the beach (Juno beach). Very good starting point for visiting the landing beaches and D-Day museums. Walled garden with spacious parking space within the enclosure. Also ideal for our dog. Restaurants, bakery and supermarket within walking distance. Good cycling opportunities so bring your bike.

We had a great time at Marie-Ange's place. The house is perfectly maintained and the beautiful garden allowed us and our 2-year-old son to spend beautiful evenings in peace. We 100% recommend this accommodation if you want to rest and enjoy the surroundings!

Very good stay in a quiet and well-equipped cottage. Michel and Nelly are very welcoming hosts. Close to the sea, restaurants and beautiful walks. I recommend!

Good value house in the middle of Lion sur Mer. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are super comfortable. There could be a bit more chilling space, the seating area is a bit limited. For us it wasn't a problem as we were lucky with the very un-Normand weather - but if it had been raining a lot and we had had to spend more time inside, it could have been a bit harder, especially for the kids. The whole house overall is a bit on the small-ish side - but then again, everything you need is there. The heating works very well, a bit too well at times - as the house can feel quite cold, it blasts hot air, which is great for not feeling cold, but can feel a bit suffocating. I'm nit picking, clearly, but we had a great time in the house, and would definitely come back for another stay.

Friendly and responsive host Too bad it wasn't warm enough to have our meals on this friendly terrace. An electric grill would be very useful for the outdoors in addition to the charcoal grill. The proximity to the beach is very nice.

An absolutely beautiful cottage, very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Easy to access with very complete and proactive explanations. Cute and pleasant little town garden. I'd recommend it!

Amazing property! Great taste in furnishings, beautiful bathrooms, all amenities, and comfortable beds. Easy walk to grocery store and the sea with choices of restaurants. Quiet neighborhood with a great outdoor space. Only downside is we didn't get to stay longer. Responses to questions about the area came within minutes! Would highly recommend when visiting the Normandy area. Thanks for everything!
