“Place was super convenient with a petrol station just beside, and 2 supermarkets within walking distance. Location was close to major attractions as well. The house was very clean and cosy with all sorts of amenities. We definitely made ourselves at home. And we are thankful to be able to experience the traditional Faroese Home.”
Cosy ground floor apartment for up to 4 guests only a two minutes drive from Vagar Airport - situated in the heart of Sørvágur with the most amazing sunset view over Sørvágsfjord to birds paradise, the island of Mykines!! :D Basics, such as bedding, towels and soap - as well as washer and dryer - included.
“The overall environment was great because I arrived at the evening flight and she also prepared fruits, milk, cheese, ham slices, supermarkets are nearby, and so is the bus station. The only flaw is that I can hear the sound of walking upstairs. People who are afraid of noisy can be more uncomfortable, and the bathroom drainage is slightly slower, but it is not a big problem. I personally like this living environment”
You can find our cosy cottage in our backyard just by the sea. Here you can relax and enjoy the quiet neighborhood and beautiful surroundings. The cottage is suitable for a couple or two persons. Within a walking distance, there is a café/bar, tourist center, sagamuseum, souvenirshop, restaurant, birdcliff sightseeing, sea angling trips and a grocery store. In the neighbour house, there is an old authentic café, where you can buy handmade faroese crafts. 500 m to the bus connection to Tórshavn.
“Superb location to explore the lower islands and sights. Beautiful views, lovely walks, and the amenities left nothing to be desired. Cozy and comfy for sure (just watch your head if you're tall) - it is a cottage after all. Ena was extremely helpful when I found the tourist offices closed. She answered my basic questions about navigation, what's open/available, and she even made some phone calls for me to confirm the cliff tour was indeed operating a special schedule (so worth it!).”
