What a great find! Margie was an excellent host! Very good with communication and extremely accommodating. The property is very well maintained and the house was very homely with 2 great entertainment areas, a swimming pool for the summer, and as an alternate, multiple fireplaces for a snug winter getaway accompanied with an oxtail potjie and glühwein. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the appliances / utensils you'll need, bathrooms modern with clean extra floor towers for water run off , luxury soaps and shower jells, and bedrooms were well laid out. There's a pool table, dart board and several board games to keep everyone entertained. Attention to detail included, a welcome bottle of wine, informative booklet, chocolates on the beds, packs of tissues for all the occupants, and chalk for the pool queues. There is a short drive to the marina where club access is included, with picnicking spots and watercraft launching facilities available. Highly recommended!!!

This was incredible value for money! The views were amazing, the house was clean and lovely, there was loads to keep the children entertained and the host was super friendly and helpful! A wonderful experience in nature, so tranquil and refreshing! Would definitely book here again.

What a wonderful venue especially as we could moor our boat and JetSki after a fun day’s activities on the river. The house had everything we needed.

Wonderful place and such a free space. Wonderful hosts, just had such a wonderful time. They thought of ia by makimg a great fire, it waa just so sweet.

The Host Paul allowed us to have our very small intimate wedding there.. it was the best night of my whole life and the propert is superb😍. I would not trade that night and the overall feel for anything else. I have to add that the staff member was walking around our guests and for most park of the wedding sat in the main houses' bar on his phone watching videos (the guest toilet is right next to the bar btw).. i eventually asked him around 23h00 when our guests left to please leave our house , it was quite awkward having him sit there watching videos while we all stand around the kitchen/ bar and all talking about how the wedding and night went.

Beautiful place on the dam, was so easy to walk down and get on with some fishing. Lovely spot, the bedrooms are separated and have their own bath/shower and toilet with a communal kitchen and lounge. The TV has been updated and the dstv was a bonus for the kids. A homely environment with the requisite requirements. Thanks Wendy.

As always, we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The place is well kept and peaceful. Nice break away from the city life.

The space was beautifully attended and fitted out with care. Although small, it was perfect for my one night in Sasolburg and exactly what I needed, in what is a safe and well kept neighbourhood. I will stay over here again on future short stays in the town.

This is perfect for when you want a place to sleep after a night out. Chike is very friendly and welcomed us with a smile.

Bernice’s place was absolutely perfect for us. The whole place is very spacious with a brilliant kitchen and modern bathroom. The back garden area is perfect for someone looking to have breakfast outside or even a little home workout. Lastly, the host is super friendly and extremely helpful. Whenever we had any questions she got back to us right away and gave recommendations for whatever we needed. We would highly recommend this place to stay and can’t speak highly enough of the host. Great stay in the countryside. Really loved the farm atmosphere and Owen was on hand to assist with any requests or questions - even giving us a radio handset to call if anything was required. Lots of flies but that can be expected with the horses and cows around. Even though it rained in the evening (which was welcomed cos it was super hot) we still managed to have a great time thanks to the BBQ on the veranda. Thanks Conrad and team

We loved our two-night stay at Cheryl's Mahogany Cottage. The highlight was having two mini horses in our own paddock. The kids LOVED feeding them and interacting with them. Cheryl was friendly and welcoming, and we learned so much about the farm. We'll definitely be back.

Great to be on the farm with all the animal’s and farm activities. We did lots of lovely walks on the farm. There were unique things to explore in Heidelberg, and we enjoyed a hike and game drive in the nearby Suikerbosrant Nature Reserve.

We had an excellent stay! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Everything went smoothly, and the host was truly amazing and attentive. This was our second visit to Frans place and it was as if we returned to family. Fran and Rick are extremely accommodating superhosts and we will definitely recommend them and their place without any reservations. Frans is our go to home away from home. We loved staying at Noleens place. Noleen communicated well. She was very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. We really appreciated a late change in the number of guests for the last night of our stay. The house is great space for large groups and offers privacy, peace and quiet. The photos really dont do it justice. There arent many places in the area, but Noleen provided great recommendations for during our stay and gave advice about the roads before we arrived. The house is also equipped with everything you may need if you dont want to venture out. We really appreciated Martha, who lives on the property and is available for an additional fee to clean and service during the stay. We were a large group who cooked often, so it was really great to have assistance cleaning up the kitchen and we could focus on relaxing and taking a break!

We had a great stay at Fish Eagle. We travelled in a large group from all over SA. Leandi and her husband were very helpful and accommodating. They provided us with directions so that we could easily find the accommodation. They were in constant communication with us, responded to our many questions and were very friendly. The dirt road leading up to the property is definitely do-able. We travelled in 3 separate sedans, fully loader and could easily navigate the road. Just had to travel slow but was fine. The house itself was very clean, well equipped and surroundings were very peaceful. Great family stay with little kids. Thanks Leandi and Nicolaas.
