If you are looking for a big city to run around, go somewhere else. If you are looking for a German village, across from a lake with a walking trail, but with a grocery 50 meters from your door, this is the place. It's quiet and pretty - a great place to relax. It's also close to the autobahn so, if you do want to visit Nuremberg, Wuerzburg, Bamberg, Munich (we got to all of them) ... the drive is fast. A very clean (with a weekly cleaning lady), comfortable, large apartment with all the amenities. We never waited long for Jurgen's responses. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed immediately. We'd go back.

My family of three (inc. 11yo son) stayed here for one month. We just relocated to Germany and set up here as we searched for long term living arrangements. Everything about this place was convenient for a transient family. Shops, restaurants and grocers are steps away with easy access to Weiden pedestrian zone. EV charging was available. Apartment was VERY clean and arranged nicely. Cleaning services were provided twice during our stay and they did wonderful. Kitchen had everything you could need. We are very glad we chose here as our temporary home in Bavaria!

Christina's apartment was lovely. She had even provided toys for our son and was very happy to meet our dog. Every day we had a chat and in addition, in the absence, she provided some cleaning up and empty trash cans, etc. We had a great time.

Stephan is a very likeable host, check-in and communication before and during the stay were great. The apartment is tasteful and high-quality down to the last detail and super clean. The bed is a dream! In Stephan's beautiful "Cortendorfer Stadel" below the apartment you can end the evenings with great food, good wine and great ice cream.

Lanka was extremely accommodating and was very attentive to our special needs. Both check-in and check-out were straightforward. The place itself was wonderfully tastefully decorated, very exclusive and everything was clean. Even a welcome drink and chocolate were there for us. If we are back in Bad Elster, this place is the first choice.

The apartment was as described, the check-in was exemplary explained by videos. The third bed at the stairs must fit the guest, which is difficult to estimate in advance from the photos, but is also difficult to describe. For a two-night stay, I found the automatically created emails, which I felt like I received every hour before, during and after the stay. Overall, the apartment with its location to the Röhrensee and Friedrichstrasse is really excellent for a city trip.

My apartment was just great for an extended stay. Very clean and modern. Location is excellent. Easy walk to train station and downtown. Public transport is just a few blocks away. Many good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. You can prep your own meals in the kitchen. On site breakfast is a good way to start the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet. I definitely plan to stay here again.

The apartment was roomy for European standards and bright. There were a couple of minor issues initially but these were addressed quickly. The apartment is centrally located and a short walk to the local Main Street, botanical gardens, and university. The staff at the hotel were lovely. The price for breakfast (€18) was a bit high for what was offered but the food was fresh and plentiful. Overall it was a great stay and I would stay there again.
